La Locanda del Borgo In Catania

I'm from Catania but live in the Veneto region. I went the second weekend of January with friends from the Veneto region. I'd seen a TikTok video and promised myself I'd go, so I did. A rustic place, excellent food, I made a great impression on my friends. Apart from a plate of pasta alla Norma (very much appreciated and praised), the rest was all fish. The food was very good, generous portions, and the bill was fair. We'll be back. P.S. I can't forget Giusi, who was hospitable, kind, and friendly. What can I say? 🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝❤️

A cozy place, easy to get to, quick service, and excellent food. We ordered the fish aperitif for two and there was nothing left. We'll definitely be back to try the meat aperitif.

In a group with a pre-arranged menu. Attention: parking is difficult...limited spaces, max 50. We enjoyed the antipasti and the pistachio pasta.

My family and I visited La Caverna del Borgo and it was a truly delightful experience. The place is particularly charming, with an atmosphere reminiscent of a typical Sicilian restaurant: welcoming, meticulously detailed, and full of warmth. We enjoyed excellent seafood, cooked with great care and freshness. It's the perfect place to spend a family evening, soaking up the traditions of our region. We'll definitely be back!

The place is very clean and well air-conditioned; it's the second time my wife and I have come here, and we always leave with a smile on our faces and the knowledge that we've tasted exquisite dishes and delicacies!!! And what can I say about the superb 'Aperifish' recommended by the very kind and charming owner and her beautiful daughter? Finger-licking good... Fantastic!!! Excellent fish, fresh and plentiful!!! I went to this place after seeing a video and out of curiosity I wanted to try it. I would have given 5 stars to the food because the fish was fresh and you could see it, but only for the variety of fish that is served on a platter for 23 euros per person for 2. It's good but it didn't blow me away... the place is well-kept and the staff was really kind. I can't say anything else. Worth a try.
