I gave it 5 stars. An inn you don't expect in the barrier heart of Milan. It's small, less than 20 seats. Tastefully furnished. And fun. The food is excellent starting from the 3 and 5 meat boiled meats and the first courses are always up to par. The wines are well chosen. The manager is a very nice and pleasant person. The prices are excellent

For us, the visit to "La Locanda" tonight has been an experience more than a dinner. The owner is an absolutely lovely host, and we felt more invited at home by a friend who loves food and wine than sitting in a restaurant.
And food and wine was indeed delicious and absolutely authentic.
Unfortunately we were a bit in a rush, but we really enjoyed our staying, and we wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Welcoming environment with a pleasant family feel. It's a shame that the boiled meat dish and in particular the cut of scaramella was hard and a little stringy. The wine and coffee were good

It's not just a dinner... It's a sensory experience! The French menu was a surprising discovery of flavours!
The Chef is a beautiful storyteller, when he has time and tells the story of the birth of one of his dishes he enchants you...
The wines... I have no words... Always the right wine in the right place!

Boiled meat here is an art, managed with meticulous care but also with courage. For example, the first outing with truffle egg is as risky as it is excellent.
Small place, remained like a small artisan workshop, where the room mixes with the kitchen. The meats are excellent. The sauces are very good and original, in particular the dijon mustard and honey one or the horseradish one (exceptional on the tongue).
Informal and minimal in terms of environment, but a gem in terms of food and wine.

Un posto minuscolo (ci sono sei tavoli), rustico e carino. Un simpatico signore che prepara le cibarie e serve in sala. Una deliziosa sfilata di carni bollite. Vini rossi piemontesi in numero limitato, ma di buona qualità, con un paio di etichette di prestigio. Prezzi onesti. Non è il posto per passare una serata romantica, ma se vi piace il bollito non fatevelo scappare.

A small restaurant where the attentive service pleasantly accompanied the entire dinner. We tried the 30 euro Bollito menu and were thrilled by the textures and balance of flavors: a cuisine passed down in the family. At the end we were treated to a chocolate liqueur which concluded it all. The kindness of the owner made the dinner even more pleasant, we felt "pampered".

Mono tematico o quasi . Questa ‘stanzetta’ che sembra la casa di un single un po’ disordinato mi ha divertito per la originalità e l’anticonformismo . Bollito decorosissimo con tra salse appropriate . Buoni i dolci . Buono il barbera .
Il gestore in sintonia perfetta con l’ambiente (sembra più casa sua che un ristorante)
