Il ristorante ha un ambiente molto intimo, i piatti del menù sono pochi ma molto legati alla tradizione siciliana. Abbiamo molto apprezzato la caponata, la pasta alla norma e la pasta Ca muddica. Ci sono state gentilmente offerte le bruschette col pesto di pistacchi portate a causa di una comanda sbagliata e abbiamo anche scoperto che erano buonissime. Per finire, va detto che in una città decisamente cara, il conto è stato molto onesto. Consiglio questo ristorante che ci ha fatto sentire ospiti a casa loro.

Going down from the Roman Theater of Taormina, on a side street we find this excellent place.
It has a small menu, but everything we tried tasted excellent, and the ingredients were top quality.
The price-quality ratio is very good, since this town is one of the most expensive on the entire island.
A great discovery!!!

The two of us were there on a Tuesday evening and were welcomed; there were enough free tables outside at around 8 p.m. We have bruschette with pisstacchio and caponata. These were a 10/10, really big and taste was strange!! Absolutely recommended. Then we ordered the Insalata die Mare and the lasagna. Insalata di Mare was okay, everything was fine, maybe the price was a little too high? But it was good. Lasagna, on the other hand, didn't have much in common with real Italian lasagna, unfortunately. The sugo was sweetened with sugar and made the whole thing taste more like a dessert. I found a tiny piece of ragù in the whole lasagne. I couldn't eat the whole lasagna because it was too sweet and not authentic. Unfortunately it wasn't nicely covered with bechamel or cheese either.
Contorni are also rather expensive.
Service was OK.
Ambiance is nice, chairs/table are not necessarily recommended for older people for a longer period of time.

If you are here you must visit them !!!! The food was excellent and the atmosphere even better. I reccommend the bruschetta for getting a truly italian experience. You will not be disapointed.

Excellent, relaxed dinner sitting outside highly recommend for slightly off the main tourist street. Loved the meatballs, parmigiana and the lasagna which weren’t overly cheesy and had a perfect sauce.

The warmest, coziest and charming little restaurant in Taormina. Beautiful atmosphere on the sidewalk among a not too busy, but nevertheless interesting side street. Charmingly decorated with little tables and stools. The owner was the most welcoming and warm man ever! We felt not like guests of his restaurant, but rather of his home. The food was amazing-homemade-style with big size portions. At some point a group of folk musicians came along and made the night unforgettable! I highly recommend this place!

Very charming restaurant, just like the staff! delicious dishes with a very very good quality/price ratio, I got them for less than €20 with the price of main course, drink, dessert.

We stunned them by arriving in 10 of us, on a Sunday, without a reservation. They prepared the table inside for us in 5 minutes, making us occupy the entire room. They served us quickly, excellent food, simple and traditional, with impeccable, familiar and fun service. Highly recommended!

The best bruscetta we have ever eaten! We ordered it with tomatoes and pistachios - simply amazing. Also meat in tomato sauce with oregano and baked potatoes with rosemary 10/10. Great owner. Good wine. I would highly recommend!
