La Locanda da Pino In Velletri

I bought take-away fish for dinner on July 14th...and I was very impressed by the quality of the food and the attention paid by the staff...I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was great, but the service was bad. They completely forgot a first course. The spaghetti with clams arrived more than half an hour after everyone else had finished their dish. We asked for two bottles of water 3 times. I repeat, good food but poor service.

I can say that I will no longer go to eat fish in Ostia because this restaurant is really top! The cooking of the fish, the condiments and the inevitable plating done with care and imaginative details left me speechless. The chef also plays with the unpredictability of the dishes for which you don't know what to expect and each dish in its own way seems to tell a story due to the quality of the flavors and the combination of the ingredients making the whole thing a journey without limits and boundaries. The fish is caught by the restaurateurs and therefore very fresh, the environment is very welcoming and while you wait you can view many of the chef's dishes broadcast on the TV screen, a very nice and useful idea. I usually take photos of dishes but everything caught my attention so much that I forgot about it, all of this is fantastic! I will definitely go back because I was very happy!!!
