La Locanda In Fiumicino

Good food, fair prices, excellent team. I do recommend this place.

After spending 15 days in Italy and surrounding countries found an amazing place I'd like to recommend "La Cocande" and as a bonus... it's affordable. On our second to the last night, near our hotel, Our hotel suggested a family owned and run "very" authentic Italian restaurant for dinner. Of course being Americans we eat much earlier than Europeans so don't let the empty tables in my photos discourage since it was full before we left. During iur dinner tge restaurant filled up as well as a large amount of take aways. My wife had a calamari/shrimp dish and I had Salamobecca del Romana (see photos for each). Although I could not pronounce it the waiter was patient and I was several slices of veal, topped with products ham and sage pierced with a skewer and seared with a fabulous Virgin olive oil. I saw several other dishes served to other tables and each was an work of savory art. Thank you to the chef and staff for an unforgettable meal and memory.

A pleasant place to spend an evening with good music and entertaining shows.

We went to the Locanda pub to see a live music concert. The room wasn't very big and it was very hot. The band was exceptional, but it was just a shame the music was way too loud. Unfortunately, the service wasn't the best: the staff was unfriendly.

The hospitality of the owner and his staff, the food and the service are excellent in a typical location.

The food here is absolutely delicious, reasonably priced, and they are fairly quick to deliver it fresh to the table. (Strongly recommend their Carbonara!!) However, the service was just ok. The tall gentleman we had serving us was not very attentive and seemed unhappy. We ordered a grilled seafood plate, and he brought out a large steak... we were confused as it wasn't what we ordered. We kindly notified him and he took it away and we watched it be served to another party on the other side of the restaurant. Normally, once a plate hits the table, it's not proper to re-serve it to another table. We weren't upset that we didn't get the plate at all, but it was strange it was re-served. He did fix the mistake though and our food was great otherwise. The ambiance is fun and the decorations are cool. Washrooms were untidy though, no soap in them, no paper towels. Maybe it was an off day. We might return again and hope to have a better overall experience.

Excellent fish, warm atmosphere, average prices. I'll be back.

This restaurant is one of my favorites, meat or fish, and from 10 fabulous dishes you can definitely choose what you want because everything is excellent and dishes are very fast even with a large influx of people and then Roberto the owner follows everything with the utmost attention and also organizes many events Having 3 enormous rooms I highly recommend it
