A nice local restaurant, very reasonable prices for the quality of food. We were a group of 8 staying near Fiumicino airport and the waiter was very nice with us and spoke English. The appetizers like suppli and the fried olives were delicious, and the pasta and pizza were both top notch.
A great spot for anyone staying nearby to the airport for dinner the night before departure.

La Locanda is a wonderful find near the Rome airport! It’s the perfect spot if you’re staying at one of the nearby hotels and want to enjoy authentic Italian food without having to venture too far into the city. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a genuine local feel rather than a “tourist trap.”
The menu has great variety, everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. Portions were generous, and you can really taste the quality. Service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better.
If you’re around the airport and looking for a nice restaurant with fair prices, La Locanda is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommend!

Welcoming place with efficient service.
We went there for a birthday dinner.
A quick preface: I don't eat fish, so I opted for pizza and fried food.
Those who ordered fish were satisfied; the food was good.
The pizza was excellent, but the fried food...needs to be reconsidered.
A supplì soaked in oil that fell apart when you hold it.
Potato croquettes the size of peanuts, but good.
The Ascoli olives were rubbery and cloying, practically inedible.
Hence the rating for the food in the middle.
To be fair.
As for the rest, the appetizers from the other diners were good, the entrees were generous.
Worth revisiting.

The visit to the restaurant was simply fantastic. The chef and the entire team were incredibly friendly, attentive, and their positive attitude made the evening perfect. You can tell right away: Hospitality is lived and breathed here!
🍽️ The food? Simply amazing!
Every dish was a hit – fresh, lovingly prepared, and of the highest quality. You can taste the quality and passion in every single ingredient. I would love to order everything again!

Dinner in the garden, reminiscent of an old-fashioned piazza, yet cheerful and informal. The fried cod and grilled fish were excellent, but the guests were also very satisfied, opting for a delicious steak with potatoes and chicory. Attentive service, even with almost all tables occupied. Unbeatable value for money.
