La Locanda di Enza is one of those places that don't make a show: they deliver. Authentic cuisine, true Irpinia flavors, raw ingredients treated with respect and intelligence. Here you don't eat "well": you eat right.
Enza pours her whole family's heart (and you can feel it). The welcome is warm but never intrusive, and the atmosphere makes you slow down, which is a luxury these days. Each dish speaks of the region without unnecessary folklore, with a sure hand and rare coherence. The ricotta and truffle tart with pumpkin fondue is superb. My orecchiette (I'm still celiac 😁) with porcini mushrooms and truffle were delicious, and what can I say about the coffee...yes, that's an added bonus, which led me to give the restaurant 4 stars.
If you're looking for authenticity, flavor, and humanity in your dishes, you're in the right place.

Disappointing experience. Extremely slow service, subpar food, and exorbitant prices for what we ate. Such a minimal appetizer simply can't be priced at the suggested price. Porcini mushrooms and truffles, eaten with cherry tomatoes for the first time, weren't exactly thrilled. I wouldn't return.

A lovely place, warm and welcoming, with very friendly staff.
We had two appetizers and two first courses. Water and Coke were included.
The local appetizer was good, perhaps a little cheap for the price. The vegetables were really good, especially the buttered spinach, which is highly recommended.
For our first course, we had fusilli with sausage and yellow cherry tomatoes. These are highly recommended.

The atmosphere is nice... the service is a bit slow, the only flaw is the cover charge which reached 3 euros per person... in a small town like ours I find it a bit excessive...

We had a wonderful meal, a perfect tagliata with excellent grilled vegetables. The apple and cinnamon cheesecake was really good. The staff was really good at managing the crowd (it was a festival). We'll be back. I recommend it.

Entering the inn is like entering your grandparents' house.
You can feel the love, the welcome, the old-fashioned aromas, the kindness.
The place is a gem, the dishes exquisite.
Don't stop too early because Signora Enza's desserts are exceptional.
I'd like to give a shout-out to the host—I don't remember his name—who accompanied us and recommended us, a truly kind and welcoming guy.
