LA LIONNE D'OR In Catania

05/04/2024: Last meal in Sicily, we were not disappointed! Excellent food, Sicilian atmosphere (restaurant full in the off-season), cordial welcome by the owner. The reputation of the Sicilians is well established: they know how to eat, cook and are exceptionally kind and welcoming. The mussels were excellent, the squid fried to perfection (not too greasy which is rare!), the spaghetti with ink delicious! Hearty dishes, large menu (seafood), fast, attentive and friendly service. If we had stayed several evenings we would have definitely come back every evening and with just as much pleasure! We recommend++!

01/04/2024: Restaurant in the port with parking in front. Elegant and spacious. Good mussels but too much oil. Free starters with typical potato croquettes and rice balls, also toasted bread with tomato oil and oregano. The pasta with clams is good and the bolognese pasta is the same.
