La Lanterna di Spiazzi In Caprino veronese

We were today for the first time in this Pizzeria/Restaurant in Spiazzi (VR), I must say that we were pleasantly surprised... they made us sit in the outdoor space behind the building where they have expertly set up a well-furnished location with umbrellas, flowers, evergreen bushes and large tables with comfortable chairs... the breathtaking view of Lake Garda in the distance should not be underestimated. The dishes are good/exquisite and well presented, kind and competent staff ready to make up (with apologies) for small occasional oversights. I would say the price is average given that raw materials at 0 km have a cost. What more can I say... we will definitely go back at the first opportunity even in the cold season because they have around 80 seats in the internal rooms ....

Great dinner, we had pizza, caesar salad and pasta with mushrooms and everything was very tasty, pizza crispy. There was a rush in the restaurant that evening, but the staff tried to satisfy everyone and ran. (Probably) the owner looked strict and sometimes had an exchange of views with someone from the staff, but he has a great staff under him, the waiters are very nice, smiling and willing, even though they had a difficult evening.

Absolute recommendation. The view of Lake Garda is simply fantastic. A place to feel good. For us we had the best pizza and pasta here. Prices are absolutely fair, almost cheap given the view. An absolutely perfect service, not too intrusive and always in the right place at the right time. Wonderful.

A fast and qualitative service for the price I highly recommend

We found this restaurant while in the area visiting a famous church in the rock nearby (Madonna della Corona). A couple of restaurants had menus outside but the kitchen was closed when we enquired about eating. We were attracted to La Lanterna restaurant by the tables on the terrace outside, shaded umbrellas a pleasant respite from the summer heat and with a beautiful view. The menu includes a selection of starters, pasta, meat and veg dishes and pizzas too. I opted for canederli, dumplings typical of South Tyrol but often found in restaurant menus in this part of Italy too. My partner ordered pizza and while my dish came after a short wait we were told that we had to wait a little longer for the pizza as they explained the first one was burned and they would make it again. Unfortunately the second pizza also arrived quite burned and dry but at that point we couldn't wait any longer. Throughout the rest of the meal the waiters came to the table to apologise profusely for the mishap and offered free coffee if we decided to have coffee at the end; we opted for limoncello instead and settled the bill. Given the location and the service prices are very reasonable and the food (at least what we ordered) is tasty and enough for lunch with a view. I think although sometimes mistakes do happen it's what you do about that make the difference and in this case we would like to praise the staff for their attentiveness to the customers and we wouldn't hesitate to go back if we were in the area.

Delicious pizza, soft and crunchy dough at the same time, full of tasty vegetables! Ate at the outdoor table with a wonderful breeze, friendly and attentive staff, if I have the opportunity I will go back! Compliments!

Amazing place, fireplace, good meals german and italian choices. Good quality. Good service. In the main road heading Maddona dell Corona. I really reccomend it. There is a small parking area crossing the mail road. Adorable place and surraoundings.
