It's a pleasure to review places like this, where the owners are truly passionate about what they do and the local area, selecting quality local ingredients. The pappardelle with venison and wild boar will remain in our hearts, but the pappardelle with hare and venison were also delicious. The tart was also a highlight. Besides eating well, we discovered so much about the national park. We'll definitely be back soon to try the rest of the menu!

I rarely write reviews, but this time Davide and his restaurant truly deserve it. The food was exceptional, from appetizer to dessert; I've rarely eaten so well. The service was equally exceptional, with Davide being a wonderful host. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

08/10/2025: I expected better, average product, good platter of cured meats, cheeses and fried foods, you could feel the low quality of the cured meats, costs too high for an average quality product, nice location
13/09/2025: If you come to Castel di Sangro, you absolutely have to stop and eat here. A very well-kept restaurant, with attentive and fast staff, and excellent food. Excellent value. My partner and I (we're parents, so we came with our young daughter) split a €24 appetizer and then ordered two first courses. My pappardelle with porcini mushrooms were spectacular. Finally, a lemon sorbet to refresh the palate. A highly recommended place for new parents. The bathroom also has a changing table for emergencies.
