Good food and efficient service but in the external area (street) there is an unbearable confusion that does not allow you to enjoy dinner in peace (screams, smoke etc.) Overall the quality/price ratio is not adequate.

The food was sufficient, the waiters were quite well-prepared and polite, the furnishings and atmosphere were like an island....but a fish with cherry tomatoes and olives (with a lot....too much broth) a little wine, potatoes and bitter....80 euros is not good at all

We had dinner at Taverna this evening and everything was perfect! From the excellent food (fresh fish) to the friendly and attentive service! We really enjoyed it, perfect quality price! We recommend it! 💫

We spent a beautiful evening in the heart of Ponza. The location is truly enchanting: outside there are tables located on the main street, where you can breathe the sea air and watch the tourists strolling: inside, however, there is a cozy and quiet room, perfect for those looking for a bit of intimacy. We chose to sit inside and we had a great time. The service was impeccable: the waiters were always kind, present and ready to satisfy our every request. We started with an excellent wine and a simply delicious mussel sauté. The mussels were very fresh and soft, immersed in a sauce that contained all the flavor of the sea. The first courses were both exquisite and delicate, but the second was truly surprising: we had never eaten such good fish! To conclude, we finally found a tiramisu that lived up to its name, accompanied by a tasty chocolate salami. The evening ended with a long and pleasant chat with Silverio, the owner, a very kind and helpful guy, who made the experience even more special. I recommend everyone to try this restaurant. Quality, atmosphere and hospitality are truly top notch. I would go back tonight!

Abbiamo passato una bellissima serata nel cuore di Ponza. La location è davvero suggestiva: all'esterno ci sono tavoli situati sul corso principale, dove si respira l’aria di mare e si osservano i turisti passeggiare; all’interno, invece, c'è una saletta accogliente e tranquilla, perfetta per chi cerca un po’ di intimità. Noi abbiamo scelto di accomodarci all’interno e siamo stati benissimo. Il servizio è stato impeccabile: i camerieri sono stati sempre gentili, presenti e pronti a soddisfare ogni nostra richiesta. Abbiamo iniziato con un ottimo vino e un souté di cozze semplicemente delizioso. Le cozze erano freschissime e morbidissime, immerse in un sughetto che racchiudeva tutto il sapore del mare. I primi piatti erano entrambi squisiti e delicati, ma il secondo è stato davvero sorprendente: non avevamo mai mangiato un pesce così buono! Per concludere, abbiamo finalmente trovato un tiramisù all’altezza del suo nome, accompagnato da un gustoso salame al cioccolato. La serata si è conclusa con una lunga e piacevole chiacchierata con Silverio, il proprietario, un ragazzo gentilissimo e molto disponibile, che ha reso l’esperienza ancora più speciale. Consiglio a tutti di provare questo ristorante. Qualità, atmosfera e accoglienza sono davvero di altissimo livello. Ci tornerei già stasera!

Ho avuto il piacere di trascorrere tre meravigliosi giorni a Ponza con amici universitari per un progetto organizzato dal nostro CUS Tor Vergata. Tre giorni indimenticabili, forse quasi esclusivamente per l’amore e la passione che ci ha conquistato grazie ai piatti di Silverio e del suo affabile staff. Cinque pasti tra pranzi e cene, in cui Silverio ci ha stupito con ricciole, sugaretti e dentici di una freschezza rara: scintille per le papille gustative! Le porzioni erano giuste e la presentazione dei piatti così invitante da sentirci quasi in dovere di scarpettare ogni boccone. Ci siamo sentiti a CASA, e questo dice tutto sulla simpatia e gentilezza che contraddistingue il personale della Lanterna. Si percepisce chiaramente la storia e la tradizione del ristorante, che di generazione in generazione porta avanti qualcosa di speciale, capace di far sorridere chi ama il buon cibo: tutto ciò che un grande ristorante dovrebbe saper fare!

My partner and I went to this restaurant two weeks ago, during a visit to Ponza. We had a great time: welcoming atmosphere, very kind staff and honest prices. We really felt at home. Thank you very much to all the staff - we will gladly return!
