We took spaghetti with the swordfish bottarga recommended to us by Silverio, we were skeptical but we changed our minds, as the catch of the day was AMAZING grilled sea bream. Unmissable stop in Ponza

The grouper with lemon and capers is amazing, the grilled scorpionfish I've never eaten before, and the courgettes scapece, a real discovery, delicious and tasty.

Recognizable by the red tablecloths on the main course, I ate the grilled redfish for the first time and it was delicious, spaghetti with swordfish bottarga well done and plentiful!

Like every year it's a fixed stop, this year in addition to the reconfirmation... better and better fish balls... we've gone up another level! Best spaghetti with lobster ever, well done guys!!

One of the spots in Ponza I have been dining at for 20+ years since the times when the ever present, entertaining and charismatic Silverio manned the place. Today, the place upped the game tremendously with newly renovated kitchen and waiters with headpieces never missing a beat running the place with the utmost efficiency and kindness. The food was also a pleasant surprise, the dishes we ordered were absolutely delicious. This is a perfect example how to preserve a restaurant with history and character instead of planting another predictable overpriced white cube sophisticated travelers couldn’t care less about. Well done guys, thank you. I can’t wait to be back again🙏👏👍 HRW NYC

27/10/2024: Excellent food, the owner and the waitress are kind, helpful and very professional people... very welcoming and well-kept place, I was able to bring my Pitbull dog and I will never stop being grateful for this possibility which is almost always rejected by other restaurants. .. thanks again for the final surprise for my birthday
15/10/2024: Really nice place, both for the summer with a well-kept outdoor environment in a not bad garden, and in the winter with an internal area that is not particularly large (so I recommend booking) but refined and well-kept. Wide selection of meats, sandwiches and beers. We ventured on sandwiches and appetizers that were not bad, and very original too! The very kind owner guided us for the best choice of food and beers... very prepared 👏🏼! Costs aren't exactly low, but for the quality of the food it's okay. We will be back for the meat 😎

09/01/2025: We ate out as we hadn't booked. A place from the past century with waiters who serve you because they are doing you a favor, but the best spaghetti allo scoglio I've ever eaten. Compliments to the chef and his wife who is very kind.
06/01/2025: A lunch that deserves a full 10. The dishes served were plentiful and of high quality. Structure recommended by a dear friend. The only flaw is that the bathrooms need to be renovated. Recommended place
