La Lanterna Beer Bar In Lovere

Excellent pizza, great variety of beers and good looking waitresses!

I spent a night in Lovere, having dinner at this pub: a very pleasant atmosphere, friendly service, a wide selection of excellent beers, and very good pizza: a pleasant, light dough, quite soft yet just the right amount of crispiness and melt-in-the-mouth. Generous toppings with good ingredients. I wasn't expecting pizza like this in a pub, which rivals many pizzerias. If I return to Lovere, I'll definitely stop by again, also to try a few more beers. Reasonable prices.

My boyfriend and I stopped in on a Friday night around 9:00 PM, seeing as they closed at 1:00 AM. Super cute place; as soon as you walk down the steps, you're transported to a quaint old tavern! Very friendly staff, great music, and great atmosphere! We had fried mozzarella, stuffed olives, and average French fries. Then two pizzas: Napulè and Crudaiola; super digestible, excellent quality (the prosciutto and turnip tops were top!), highly recommended! The best thing about this place is, of course, the beers: a huge selection, some of which are truly unique. We had a 1-liter "Saison Dupont" on tap and a bottled "91/11 Imperial Stout," both truly excellent! Highly recommended; we'd definitely go back!

These places, the old-fashioned breweries, are world heritage sites worth preserving. At La Lanterna, you can drink well, eat well, and they're so friendly. There aren't sandwiches, but high-quality pizzas, made with premium ingredients and leavened for 48 hours. They have a wide variety of good beers, and each pizza has a recommended pairing. The bill is super fair. Well done, really well done. Update January 2026 I told the owner to never close. Because places like this should always stay open. I reiterate that they are world heritage sites. For the food, for how little you spend, and for the beauty of the setting. See you next year.

A pub unlike any other these days. A wide variety of beers and a lakeside atmosphere. Recommended in the off-season.

The food is always good, the service is fast, the beers are even for connoisseurs, and the decor is typically nautical.
