La Lanterna In Guiglia

Truly delicious! The wood-burning stoves make the atmosphere warm and welcoming! The gnocco and tigelle are truly excellent!

We stayed for a whole weekend after a long time since returning to this area. They recently changed management, but the quality and professionalism have not changed. We stayed in a welcoming, family-friendly environment. The rooms, although a bit dated, were immaculately kept and super clean. The staff was super helpful. We ate both for dinner and found superb borlenghi, excellent Emilian pasta dishes, and divinely prepared tortelloni, tortellini, and tagliatelle, truly dreamy. We tried the tigelle and the gnocco fritto, both super light, with special cured meats and cheeses, all of them top-quality. The game and chicken cacciatore were superb. The grill could be improved; it was a bit dry, but that's excused by the large number of guests on Sundays. The desserts were all homemade, and one in particular was truly amazing, never tried before, called porcupine. Compliments to the cooks and the always-smiling waitress. A note to the owner, whose manner was a bit nervous and unwelcoming during service. Breakfast included homemade cakes and delicious croissants. The owner also made excellent coffee and cappuccino, which we ordered twice without even charging a supplement. We'll definitely be back. Shout out to our two fantastic children, who, although occasionally capricious, are super cheerful, sociable, and above all, well-behaved despite their young age. Highly recommended.

I went for the first time a few days after the change of management, and the new owners were already well on their feet. So I returned a few months later, and things went even better. Excellent service, very good, high-quality food. 😊👍

We dined at La Lanterna several times during our stay near Guiglia, and each time it was perfect. The food is excellent and the service is attentive. Thank you for these delicious meals.

The restaurant changed hands a few months ago and has even improved upon the old one, despite it being excellent. The gnocco fritto and tigelle are excellent, along with top-quality cured meats and cheeses, which are by no means a given these days. Next time we'll try the rest, which, judging by the dishes we've seen, looks very promising. The service is excellent, always attentive and exceptionally kind. The place is very cute, and the outdoor area in the evenings is very atmospheric. We'll definitely be back soon!

Noi ci siamo fermati anche a dormire: stanze semplici, ma pulitissime che è la cosa migliore. La cena è stata spettacolare. Buonissima cucina locale fatta in casa. Ci siamo letteralmente sfondati anche se non avremmo dovuto ;). Il personale è davvero gentile e competente.
