Excellent restaurant. Typical Sardinian cuisine, especially from Cagliari.
The staff is friendly and courteous, attentive but never intrusive. The food is truly exceptional, expertly prepared using the freshest ingredients. The atmosphere is casual, elegant yet understated, making it suitable for business meetings or social gatherings.

The atmosphere is informal, and the dishes offered are mostly fish and seafood, accompanied by pasta or fregola. The catch is absolutely fresh and expertly prepared. Minimal frills and plenty of substance.

I like the Lanterna especially because the menu always satisfies everyone (selection of first and second courses of both meat and fish).
The staff is friendly and the waiting times are very minimal.
The portions are generous.
I recommend booking both lunch and dinner.

One of the best pastas with clams in Cagliari. Simple and welcoming place, with model sailing ships, fish in the window and photos of Gigi Riva on display. From Monday to Friday complete lunch menu for 30 euros. Great for a step back in time!
