Excellent restaurant serving regional cuisine. We return every time we decide to visit the sanctuary because the food is excellent and unpretentious. The staff is friendly and helpful. Portions are generous and prices are fair. The place is clean, with minimal 1980s-style furnishings (wooden tables and chairs), and a large fireplace. Personally, I don't like the paper placemats; it would be better to cover the entire table. The bathrooms are old-fashioned but spotlessly clean.

A surprise... We planned to stop here during a trip... a nice surprise... Good traditional food, large, spacious 70s-style atmosphere, slightly slow service but for a large place with lots of seats that's okay!

I'm a chauffeur-driven car service (NCC). I had to drive a client to Rome from Perugia, and he wanted to eat grilled meat along the way. I recommended Massimo in Collevalenza, and it's always a guarantee.
The client was truly satisfied and will return with his family.
We ate a delicious tagliata and a steak... My compliments, as always.

Rustic atmosphere, a single large room. When full, it can get crowded, but you can still chat because it's very spacious and warmed by a large fireplace. It's not a fancy place. The food is rustic but good, and portions are generous. The grilled meat and baked potatoes are delicious. Excellent value.

Overall, a good restaurant. The food is good and well-cooked, the wait is reasonable, and the restaurant is very spacious (one room).
The bill, in my opinion, was a bit too high considering the three factors combined: location, service, and food.
