Osteria alla buona located in a neighborhood near the center of Livorno, ate gnocchi sea bream and octopus salad, excellent! we are quality what flavor what portion, slice of sweet delight! Never seen a larger portion! water wine coffee 26 euros .... very honest price ...

Home cooking, rustic atmosphere. The small room at the entrance is nice with cross vaults and exposed bricks. The pizza is also good. If you are looking for a quiet environment, it is best to avoid Saturdays when it is very crowded or evenings when there is karaoke. Excellent value for money, thanks to the various options on the menu. Also suitable for a quick lunch before returning to work.

02/09/2025: The "large" pizza is only a reference to the price. A Margherita costs €5.50. It's tiny, as big as your hand, and the pizza has no flavor. It's made in a wood-fired oven, but it tasted like it was made in an electric oven. It was edible. The place is a pizzeria, so I would have expected a better pizza, and for it to be the highlight. edit: I tried the pie. One of the best I've ever had, go for that alone. But since the pizza sucks, I can't go above 3 stars...

06/07/2025: We had a lovely evening. First and second courses of excellent quality. The owner Umberto was very friendly. We will definitely be back. RECOMMENDED.
26/06/2025: Great restaurant by the harbour. Prompt service. Good pizza and very nice Elba red wine and very reasonable price. Family owned and run with father and son. The owner takes pride in chatting to his customers, which we felt was a nice personal touch. Would recommend. I'm not sure why there are negative reviews. There was nothing to dislike
