The dishes were delicious and sophisticated, but since it's a trattoria, I expected larger portions, but instead found them quite meager. It's no big deal, as the quality was very high and the prices were comparable to those of other restaurants in the area. The service was impeccable, with both the waiter and the restaurant manager being very friendly.

We had dinner at Trattoria La Lampara after our tour of the Cinque Terre, which ended in Riomaggiore. My husband and I were very pleased with the pizzas and the service. They were perfectly sized, and we were also quite full.

We came across La Lampara on the recommendation of a local, and we couldn't be happier! The restaurant is cozy and typical, in the heart of Riomaggiore. We hadn't booked, but the staff was super friendly and found us a table in a few minutes.
We tasted the Cinque Terre oil - fragrant and decidedly different from the Sicilian one - and the local white wine, fresh and perfect with seafood. We ordered:
Trofie with Pra pesto and potatoes for our baby (delicious!)
Homemade ravioli with Fassona ragù, tasty and well-seasoned
Gnocchetti with seafood, perfectly cooked and full of flavor
Attentive service, right portions, quality ingredients. Very honest final bill: €77.50.

Great food; the portions could be bigger and don’t waste your money on the salads, but pizza was honestly really good, walnut anchovies pasta was really nice and wine was amazing. It is a little overpriced and the staff is not the nicest but does the job :)

Comimos aquí tres veces en nuestra estancia y cada vez el servicio y la comida era excelente. Vieiras muy bien preparadas. También teníamos rabadilla de ternera, cordero incrustado con pistachos acompañados de verduras mixtas. En otra visita probamos pizza excelentemente preparada.
Una excelente y extensa carta de vinos proporcionó vinos regionales locales y una amplia selección de vinos italianos.
Una excelente elección.
