I discovered this place using the The Fork app and have been there several times. The food is very good, and the atmosphere is very nice, with a seaside feel. The service could be improved at times, as it left a lot to be desired on some evenings. However, I recommend it because, despite everything, I had a very good meal.

Parking isn't a problem in the winter, but it gets a little more complicated in the summer, but it's not an insurmountable problem. The intimate, family-friendly atmosphere, the courteous and knowledgeable staff, and the excellent food are top-notch, especially the pizza, which boasts fantastic leavening and premium ingredients.

Trattoria La Cantineta

24/08/2025: This restaurant in the center of Ancona is accessed via a staircase to the first floor, so I think people with mobility issues might have difficulty accessing it, especially since I didn't see an elevator. The restaurant is cute, 1980s-style, with air conditioning, so you can eat outside, not on the street, or under a tent. You can have a lunch break al fresco, with tables set with tablecloths. We had good tagliolini allo scoglio and spaghetti with clams, which was a bit loose, but it was a shame because the clams were there. For the main course, the fried fish was good, but the calamari was a bit too crispy. The service is friendly, and the staff is kind and courteous. I honestly recommend it, especially because the prices are average.
17/08/2025: A very well-maintained, down-to-earth restaurant with excellent food and reasonable prices. Recommended.
