In the heart of Foggia, "La Kucina" represents a pleasant surprise for those looking for excellent cuisine even during a work break (I found myself there on a Friday for lunch). Located in a convenient area, given its proximity to the court, the restaurant is an ideal choice for a business lunch. The "Work Break" menu, available from Monday to Friday, is structured to offer a complete and well-balanced culinary experience, with an excellent quality-price ratio.

I didn't choose the courses personally, I preferred to rely on the chef and I found the entrée and appetizer pleasant, although not particularly memorable. However, the first course, a spaghettoni with scampi tartare, its risotto and fennel, was particularly appreciable for its freshness and creativity. The preparation of the dishes reflects care in the choice of ingredients and good culinary technique.
The small pastry shop represented a "sore" point. While I understand that considering the price of the menu, the options may be limited, I found that it could benefit from more attention to detail and variety.
The place, although nice and well looked after, did not arouse particularly strong emotions. The environment is sober and functional, but lacks that distinctive touch that would make it memorable. The service is basic but attentive, with the staff proving professional and well-trained.
A special mention goes to the quality bread making, the oil tasting and, finally, the wine list...well structured and interesting, which offers different quality options to accompany the meal.
The "Work Break" menu costs €30. (I spent a total of €40 considering a glass of wine, a bottle of water and a coffee). The price is absolutely justified for the experience offered and the context in which the restaurant operates.
In conclusion, "La Kucina" is an excellent choice for a business lunch (and not only) in Foggia. It offers a solid dining experience and a suitable environment for professional meetings. While there is room for improvement, the restaurant deserves recognition for its commitment to providing quality dining in an area that is not always open to such innovations.
