For lunch, La Kantinetta offers a variety of first and second courses, depending on the season. We had an excellent risotto with local radicchio and Montasio cheese, and a frico with polenta. The portions are generous, and the price is fair for the quality. The desserts are also exquisite. The owners' extreme courtesy and friendliness, combined with the tranquil and beautiful interior, made our lunch a truly special experience. Recommended.

I was in this restaurant recently and I was impressed. The dishes were all delicious, both the most well-known ones of the Gorizia tradition and the lesser-known ones, with strong but always balanced flavors. The clean place, the quiet environment and the kind staff contribute to the 5 stars.

The food and atmosphere are good. The price is higher than average but that's okay.

We had dinner with friends during a W E visit to Gorizia. We had a great time. Friendly staff and a nice and helpful chef. We returned for lunch the next day and he prepared the typical Lubianska dish just for us: excellent 😋

Cena una sera in settimana, locale deserto, menù a voce senza prezzi, scelta molto limitata. Piatti non particolarmente suggestivi, poca tipicità. Servizio un pò invasivo. Conto non eccessivo ma elevato per quanto mangiato. Non lo consiglierei per una cena tipica a Gorizia.

Abbiamo pranzato due volte in questa piacevole trattoria ai piedi del castello di Gorizia. Polenta con le seppie, spaghetti alle ortiche con radicchio rosa e guanciale, tortelloni alla rapa rossa, patate in tecia: porzioni abbondanti e molto curate, ingredienti di qualità e servizio gentile e cordiale. Prezzo molto onesto. Locale consigliatissimo!
