We stopped by chance on our way back from a trip. A homey atmosphere, excellent, generous dishes, made to order. If you're in a hurry, go to a fast food restaurant; otherwise, enjoy the delicious food and friendly staff. Absolutely competitive prices.

A wonderful experience at the kantinetta: we were greeted cheerfully and kindly by Chef Mauro, with whom we immediately struck up a wonderful conversation. The assistant who took our orders was equally friendly and very professional, recommending the best traditional dishes and matching wines. The dishes were excellent and of the highest quality. Good food, nothing to say except that if you choose this place you have to be patient because the courses are very long.

Friendly and helpful staff (we were a group and arrived much later than expected, but the owners were very kind!), generous portions, good food. More than value for money, it's more about quantity and price; eating a first and second course is a demanding task!

Cena con piatti tipici e stagionali in un ambiente molto familiare, appena fuori dal centro di Gorizia, che dista 5 minuti in auto. Ottimi agnolotti con asparagi e inaspettati ma molto gustosi medaglioni di maiale con fragole. Il tutto accompagnato da buon vino della casa al giusto prezzo. La differenza la fa Mauro, un vero e proprio oste, sorridente e affabulatore, che si ferma a tutti i tavoli per raccontare della propria cucina e soprattutto del territorio che conosce a menadito.

Cena una sera in settimana, locale deserto, menù a voce senza prezzi, scelta molto limitata. Piatti non particolarmente suggestivi, poca tipicità. Servizio un pò invasivo. Conto non eccessivo ma elevato per quanto mangiato. Non lo consiglierei per una cena tipica a Gorizia.
