I discovered this quaint osteria too late. I was pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the waitress and owner. My first meal was ravioli with leek and sausage, and I also tried the spaghetti with the famous Gorizia rose. Everything was homemade and excellent.
I also had an entrecote with spinach, which I found to be fresh and authentic.
The overall review is overwhelmingly positive. A place to return to.

For the first time, no one had any complaints!
The place is small but very welcoming. They cleverly didn't crowd it with tables like a turkey, so it's comfortable. One room even has a nice stove that provides a pleasant warmth. The staff is welcoming, attentive, but not intrusive. The food was very good. We had the spaghetti with Gorizia rose and pancetta; they were excellent, with a delicate flavor. The ravioli with leek and sausage, and the pappardelle with mushrooms and guanciale, were also delicious and delicate. The potato frico spoke for itself, perfect with the tecja potatoes or the boiled spinach. We finished with the apple strudel and a yogurt cake. The portions are generous.
I will definitely be back.

I stopped with my family, returning to Italy from Slovenia, very friendly and welcoming management and really good food, I really recommend it, the little room with the fireplace while it was snowing outside was the best, generous portions

We tried the gnocchi with ragù, the goulash with polenta, and the strudel, all accompanied by a nice local red. Everything was delicious, served in a simple and welcoming atmosphere. The service was friendly and helpful, with reasonable wait times. We'll be back with friends.

Lunch for two, we enjoyed an excellent risotto with gorgonzola, followed by goulash with polenta and potatoes in tecia, truly delicious. The chef was very kind, as was the person who served us. Highly recommended.

A lovely place, off the beaten track but no less interesting.
The rooms are small but warm, as are the simple furnishings, creating a pleasant, convivial atmosphere.
The waitress was very kind, and the service was prompt. All the dishes were very good (cold cuts, gnocchi with venison ragù, and polenta). The price was more than fair.

Rustic restaurant in the university area, close to the Slovenian border. Warm welcome, good service, but a bit slow. Traditional dishes are good, but I would have preferred slightly larger portions, just a little, like the prosciutto in the tagliolini, the lubianska, and a couple more tortelloni. The warm apple strudel is superb, both in terms of portion size and presentation. Fair prices.
