08/12/2024: Locale accogliente , personale gentile . Il menù fisso in un giorno di festa ha probabilmente penalizzato prodotti che comunque erano buoni . Da riprovare con menù alla carta e la pizza.

16/11/2024: I went for lunch on a hot day in mid-July 2024, attracted by the small courtyard. The rustic ambience of the vast internal restaurant room is also beautiful. Due to my lack of appetite due to the heat, I only ordered a caponata with swordfish (in Sicily there are various variations, different from city to city), asking not to reheat it: excellent, a combination of basic ingredients combined with very fresh swordfish touches. Having read the menu and the reviews of the majority of those who have eaten meals at Hostaria Cycas, it is clear that it is a place where the Sicilian tradition of good ancient eating is respected, preserved and handed down, as it should be. The list of pizzas is also interesting. Honest prices. I recommend this place to everyone... it's a shame for me that I don't live closer! Congratulations to the owners.
