Secluded restaurant in the Chianti Mountains....lots of celebrities have visited...the owner is still there despite being over 90 years old...amazing wild boar and truffle pasta dishes.

Very nice and cosy restaurant. The wild boar was tender and perfectly cooked. Atmosphere was great. Great wine selection. I'll be back for sure

Amazing place! Everything is so tasty, the view is so beautiful, and the prices are really OK 🥰 Also there are some historical photos inside 😎 The quality of food is TOP 🔝
But it’s better to book a table in advance ☺️

Such a lovely restaurant tucked away in San Sano, Italy. Very congenial staff, delicious Tuscan dishes, the beef stew was very tender. Lovely and charming dining rooms, pretty views with outdoor dining available as well. We had hoped to go back again but sadly our time in Italy ran out. The deli also introduced us to Panforte! Delicious! If you are in the area you need to experience it.

Highly recommended restaurant! We came for two days with a group of work colleagues and we were welcomed very well and above all we ate very well. Quality meats and truly exquisite typical dishes. A pleasantly welcoming place managed by kind and courteous owners.

The service was wonderful, friendly and attentive. We were there for a late night diner and the restaurant was warm and comfortable. The food however was disappointing. The bread was dry, worst I’ve been served in Italy. My chicken was overdone and the first time I’ve been served a lower back as a piece of chicken. The white beans seemed poured from a jar and heated (I’ve had wonderful Tuscan beans seasoned well with sausage). My husbands wild bore, although a nice size serving, seemed just mixed in tomato paste.
We were over charged slightly compared to menu prices on the wine and possibly my plate. The chocolate cake had deep rich flavor but al in this was one of our most expensive meals in Italy.

Stayed in San Sano for a week and had dinner here. Their food is better than the usual spot, and this is reflected in their prices. It was too pricey for us to just have a casual lunch. It's a good spot if you live in San Sano, I personally would not drive there to eat because of their price/ quality ratio.

Ottima cena con cucina tipica toscana. Ottimo il tagliere misto e la pappa col pomodoro. Pici e pappardelle ed un ottimo filetto al vino. Tutto molto buono, così come il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Meglio la location del gazebo superiore più arieggiata in questa estate bollente
