ABSOLUTELY great Tuscany places ! With more than GREAT Staff and fantastic food ! Village around is so amusing and so calm that we were just absorbing this atmosphere! Great place !!!

Stayed in San Sano for a week and had dinner here. Their food is better than the usual spot, and this is reflected in their prices. It was too pricey for us to just have a casual lunch. It's a good spot if you live in San Sano, I personally would not drive there to eat because of their price/ quality ratio.

Ottima cena con cucina tipica toscana. Ottimo il tagliere misto e la pappa col pomodoro. Pici e pappardelle ed un ottimo filetto al vino. Tutto molto buono, così come il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Meglio la location del gazebo superiore più arieggiata in questa estate bollente

The Frog Cave is a hidden gem that offers an exceptional dining experience. During my visit, I had the pleasure of tasting the rosemary steak, a dish that exceeded all my expectations. The meat was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy, and the rosemary, along with other wild herbs, added a truly unforgettable depth of flavour. Every bite was an explosion of freshness and authenticity. The meal was further enhanced by the local wine, which was simply outstanding. The wine accompanied the cut perfectly, with balanced notes that completed the flavor of the dish without overwhelming it. The staff were friendly and attentive, helping to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend La Grotta della Rana to anyone looking for authentic, high quality cuisine. I can't wait to return to further explore their menu.

Not bad but much better in the region! The welcome was OK but not the warmest. We started with an Aperol Spritz, honestly the worst one of my life. Disgusting ! The dishes were very good but the portions were very small. Dessert a joke. A piece of cake swimming in a cafe. Honestly the worst restaurant of our stay.

06/05/2024: Very nice environment near the Abbey of San Galgano, best enjoyed especially in summer, the interior is small but it's really nice outside. Right portions and the same price 👍
03/05/2024: Al centro di Chiusdino, paesino a poca distanza da Siena, noto per l'Abbazia di S. Galgano e per la spada nella roccia: si trova questo ristorantino che offre un' eccellente cucina di territorio e, in modo del tutto inatteso, una strepitosa fiorentina. Da queste parti, considerando la secolare rivalità che c'è tra Siena e Firenze, non è facile trovare un locale che offra la fiorentina. Quasi impossibile che questa, poi, sia migliore di tante fiorentine assaggiate nei luoghi attesi. Basterebbe questo per farne un locale da segnalare con la matita blu, ma quant'altro assaggiato varrebbe da solo una sosta: pici alle briciole e cacio e pepe, pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale. Buoni i dolci, prezzi onestissimi: primi a meno di 10€, fiorentina a 40€ al kg, altri secondi intorno ai 10€, dolci intorno ai 5 €. Da memorizzare sul navigatore e tornare appena possibile.

06/08/2024: Advise!! Ragû Very good, typical Tuscan with little tomato and quality flavours!! Located in Monteriggioni, the interior is very characteristic!! Fair prices for being in a tourist place! If you go to Monteriggioni you have to try it! Advised
05/08/2024: We ate there last night and it was delicious. The boss took great care of us and recommended pasta with pear and it was delicious!! I highly recommend 🤩
