Upon arrival, I thought I had no clipped into a place in the back rooms. No people were present except us. Once we were seated, it was apparent I must have applied for a waiter position at the restaurant, as we were forced to pickup the food once called and once we were done we had to bring it back to the front. Anne F could have made tastier food with food from a homeless persons backpack than what grocery store rubbish we were served. +1 for the cool atmosphere. -1 for the tied up fry cooks in the back. Don’t recommend.

Very nice location. It really felt like you were living like a caveman. However the food was not like what those animals would it. It was decent. I got the soaked bread which was alright but didn’t have much flavor. And the pasta tasted like something I would make at home “I am an American”. It was an alright experience. Has a few options for my fellow grass eaters.

There's no service, actually...but that reduces the cost of dinner. I only had a first course, and it was very good. The atmosphere is very nice...inside a cave...and the people who welcomed us were very kind. I'll definitely be back.

I was completely satisfied. Delicious food and a very pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant operates on a self-service basis with ordering at the counter and a buzzer that vibrates when your food is ready. Very reasonable prices.

A great spot in Matera, where prices are generally higher. This restaurant offers typical dishes at reasonable prices.
Excellent value for money.
The self-service concept is rather surprising but not at all bothersome. The cave is very impressive with a warm atmosphere (the lighting is more subdued than in some other restaurants).

Ovviamente la lication è molto bella, ma offrono cibo di qualità e servizio veloce, anche se non hanno il servizio al tavolo per ora. Tutto davvero buono: antipasto prodotti tipici, tagliata, salsiccia, patata al forno, vino rosso locale. Molto disponile e gentile il personale. Ci torneremo sicuramente.
