We found this place by chance and after having made a mistake with another restaurant located nearby: extremely helpful and well-trained staff, exquisite and quality first courses, excellent location as it is a restaurant created inside Matera's quarries. The price of the desserts was a little excessive but a negligible detail compared to the welcome and the excellent product we found. Highly recommended

You eat inside an environment very similar to a cave accompanied by fast and quality service. Delicious bread and let's not talk about the meatballs and gnocchi!! They didn't do anything wrong!

Had some great soup of the day (beans soup), and then followed by beef with wine sauce and some orrechiette with ragu sauce and for dessert we've had some traditional pistachio sweets. The atmosphere was lovely as we were the only ones there when we visited for lunch, and the service was impeccable.

We were lucky to find a free table for 12, but after that, the service was really slow, almost like a wedding dinner, and once we received the food we never saw them again. We had starters and the food was good, but not great. In my opinion, the nun's tits were too sweet. The place is really beautiful.

I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at this restaurant! The food was nothing short of amazing. I ordered the cavatelli with sausage and mushrooms, and it was a masterpiece. The mushrooms were incredibly fresh, and the sausages were juicy and bursting with flavor, perfectly complementing the cavatelli. To top it off, I paired the dish with a glass of house wine recommended by the waitress—an excellent choice. For dessert, I got their panna cotta, which was beautifully dressed with chocolate powder and caramel syrup. To balance the sweetness, I ordered a limoncello, and the combination was simply phenomenal. Every bite and sip was pure perfection! The service was exceptional as well. The waitress (I regret not catching her name) was fluent in English and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. When I needed a taxi to the bus station, she personally called several drivers and even offered to drive me herself when no one picked up. Thankfully, we managed to get one in the end, but her kindness and dedication left a lasting impression. This restaurant truly exceeded all my expectations, from the incredible food to the outstanding service. Highly recommend!

Locale caratteristico all'interno di una grotta, buoni gli antipasti e i primi ottima anche la carne. Lasciatevi guidare dal personale di sala sempre attento alle vostre richieste. Un ringraziamento particolare a Grisielda che ci ha fatto sentire come a casa. Continuate così. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Sicuramente ritorneremo a farvi visita.
