Simple, local, very good and not touristy! You have to book!

We visited this restaurant for a graduation and were pleasantly surprised. The setting is truly evocative, like being in a cave, with an intimate and unique atmosphere that makes the experience unique. The quality of the food is excellent: carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and rich in flavor. This place is definitely worth discovering and we highly recommend it.

A gem we discovered in Pisa, from the hospitality of the staff to the cuisine, to the beauty of the place itself. Small, quaint, and quiet, truly the best place to stop for an excellent dinner. The food is all perfect, from the platter, not to mention the shrimp and yellow cherry tomato gnocchi—I've never had such a good meal. The staff are fantastic, a huge thank you to Luca and Simona for their kindness, friendliness, and professionalism. They make the place even more beautiful. Thanks also to the entire kitchen team, who you can feel put so much passion into the dishes they prepare. It was truly a fantastic experience from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Thank you so much, keep up the good work, you're the best I've had here.

In the heart of the historic center, I discovered a restaurant that surprises with its quality and atmosphere. A refined atmosphere, traditional dishes revisited with taste and fresh ingredients. Attentive service, well-chosen local wines, and a fair price. A true hidden gem, absolutely worth a try.

I can say it was a real discovery. I've been to La Grotta twice and both times the food was divine. The appetizer was plentiful and excellent. The first courses were superb, and the meat was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone passing through Pisa. Really good.

If I could give 100000 stars I would. This is absolutely my favourite restaurant in the whole world. I believe this place should be on a list for a Michelin star as these flavours are incredible. Portions are big, the flavours are complex and delicate at the same time, the perfect mix; the prices are super affordable, and I find it amazing as this place has some of the best food ever. The staff is attentive, polite and friendly. I will forever comeback with my partner to this place no matter where we live on earth! I 100% recommend. Pe I wish I had more pictures but the food is so good I didn’t have the time.

Posto molto caratteristico e accogliente, particolare la grotta resa affascinante dalla spiegazione della proprietaria che prima di Cinecittà fu un set cinematografico! Cibo di qualità e ben presentato . Ci era stato consigliato da gente del posto e siamo rimaste entusiaste . Prezzi buoni ma soprattutto perché si mangia proprio bene. Anche il servizio è stato veloce, disponibile e simpatica la proprietaria che nonostante l orario ci ha dato pranzo .Le porzioni sono generose perché noi eravamo sazie e abbiamo preso : un antipasto con salumi, formaggi e crostoni toscani, come primo ci siamo divise Pici col ragù e una zuppa favolosa, per secondo una succulenta tagliata e per finire 2 rinfrescanti sorbetti al frutto della passione.

Locale caratteristico. Personale cortese, servizio rapido e professionale. Tutti i piatti provati sono stati molto graditi. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
