Excellent restaurant.
Personally, I'm having the tagliatelle with venison ragù, very good!
For dessert, Black Forest!

A restaurant in the center of Livigno, seemingly very touristy.
Since we went during the off-season, we appreciated the fact that it was still open (since the other nearby restaurants were closed).
There were two of us, and they seated us wherever we wanted, and they took our order right away.
The menu is on the placemat they put on your table, so it's very easy to choose.
We opted for two full-course menus,
a Tyrolean dish and a Foscagno dish.
Both were good. Having never eaten typical local dishes, I had the Tyrolean dish, so I don't have a comparison, but I liked it!
The quality/price ratio, given the location, was excellent!
Two main courses, a still water, €38!

Three stars are more than enough. We had lunch at this restaurant, and the service was very fast—even too fast, I'd say. The full dish, as offered on the menu (many, too many dishes), was most likely pre-prepared and plated, reheated just before serving. The pizzoccheri were tasty but lukewarm, the polenta was almost like a flan, and the mushrooms were frozen. The burger was average, with the bread not being the freshest. The cured meats were good, except for the salami, which had a sour aftertaste. I understand the urge to attract customers in the off-season, but you can't compromise on quality.

We went to La Grolla Restaurant in Livigno and had a truly wonderful time!
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, typical of the mountains but with attention to detail, with a family atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at ease. The staff is kind, attentive, and always smiling.
The dishes are a true delight: fresh ingredients, generous portions, and authentic Valtellina flavors. From pizzoccheri to meat dishes, everything is perfectly cooked and carefully presented.
The desserts also deserve a special mention—truly irresistible!
Excellent value and quick service despite the restaurant being busy.
Highly recommended for both a romantic dinner or a family evening.
We'll definitely be back! 👏🍷🍝

Today we ate in this place good pizza and second courses polenta and stew / sausage / mushrooms good the place welcoming and very large comfortable to try we will return on the next visit to Livigno this for us is the third time we come to this restaurant pizzeria and we will never change fair prices cheap in Livigno large portions thank you very much for your service
