They recommended this place to us for its historical appointment and the quality of the food. We book a table for eight people and on the phone they are very kind and helpful. We arrive at the place and realize that it really is a historic place... in terms of structure and environment. We sit down and some time passes before someone comes to take the order... oh well. We order appetizers with fried dumplings, first courses and meat, specifying that, as far as possible, everything should be served together. Some time passes and the fried gnocchi with platters of cold cuts and cheeses arrive on the table. We all look at each other a little amazed and ask the waiter if the quantities proposed on the cutting boards were correct and he very calmly gives us a few words and goes away. On the cutting boards there were no more than three slices of bacon, three slices of local salami and some raw ham and on the other cutting board there were some blocks of cheese that disappeared just by looking at them. In the meantime we were waiting for the first courses which, at our request, arrived more than half an hour late and the meat followed a few minutes later. On more than a few occasions we had to call the person at our table due to the lack of water, bread and drinks. Practically zero table assistance. Examining the whole evening a bit, we will hardly repeat this experience, considering that the price paid for the non-service was not small, and paid in full by all of us. I trust that the property will carefully reflect on my observations and expect a thoughtful and honest response to the review. Thanks for everything anyway

Great selection of very fine meats served on a small oven for personal control of cooking, as well as wines. Very large but very well looked after place. Attentive staff. 1.3kg rib eye, very tender and tasty. The only one I wouldn't recommend is the mixed grill, the meat was not very tender. The baked potatoes are very good

The place is very nice and the waiters very kind, unfortunately I didn't like dinner very much. I took a tartare which was chopped and chopped and looked like hamburgers and some kebabs which didn't. The quantity is enough, there were 12 skewers but they had no flavor and moreover they were overcooked, furthermore they are served on a stone-type plate and cool immediately, I would suggest an aluminum cone to keep them warm. Excellent wine but I took a Bellavista.

Il cibo è sempre ottimo: ottima cacio e pepe, buone le tagliatelle al ragù di bue ed ottimo l'hamburger (anche se andrebbe chiesta il tipo di cottura) con le patatine! Anche i dolci molto buoni anche se molto cari e le porzioni non così grosse...
Molto buono anche lo gnocco fritto.
Quello che mi ha deluso sono stati i formaggi: 20 euro per qualche pezzettino di formaggio...con un po' di confetture (poche anche queste...). Non li riprenderei....
cara anche la cacio e pepe anche se buona 17 euro sono un po' tanti....
altra cosa che ho osservato è che fino a pochi mesi fa davano un entrè con un calice di prosecco, adesso solo dei pezzettini piccolini (uno a testa) di focaccia....
il pane nulla di che, lo ricordavo molto più buono...
l'acqua da nemmeno un litro a 3 euro mamma mia carissima...
Il servizio inoltre è stato impreciso ed a tratti confusionario, sicuramente migliorabile soprattutto se mi chiedi un coperto di 3 euro...
nel complesso non è male ma rivedrei alcuni prezzi, alcune porzioni ed il servizio offerto...
The food is always excellent: excellent cacio e pepe, good tagliatelle with beef ragout and excellent hamburger (although you should ask for the type of cooking) with chips! The desserts were also very good although very expensive and the portions not so large...
The fried gnocco is also very good.
What disappointed me were the cheeses: 20 euros for a few pieces of cheese... with a little jam (also a few...). I wouldn't take them again....
the cacio e pepe is also expensive, even if it's good, 17 euros is a bit much....
another thing I noticed is that until a few months ago they gave an entrée with a glass of prosecco, now only small pieces (one each) of focaccia....
the bread was nothing special, I remembered it being much better...
water from not even a liter to 3 euros my dearest mother...
The service was also imprecise and at times confusing, which could certainly be improved especially if you ask me for a cover charge of 3 euros...
overall it's not bad but I would review some prices, some portions and the service offered...
I had been here 3 other times for parties and was very impressed!
So I went back! Good value for money!

The prices are a little too high... on meat dishes it may be okay but on drinks and non-meat dishes as well as desserts maybe not...
The cured meats and the fried gnocco were good and the hamburger was quite good although I would have expected them to ask me the type of cooking... in the end in some places it was a little too cooked for my tastes...
Overall I will go back but I don't think soon also because it is a big expense..
Furthermore, I don't know if it was an oversight or what, but at the checkout I wasn't even given a receipt... nor even a pre-bill to check if everything was correct. I was only told the total...

Very nice place, with little lights raining from the ceiling.
There are cuts of meat ranging from 100 to 400 euros per kilo from all over the world but I ate normal meat and spent a normal amount.

Molto gruppo, buona qualità della carne e varietà e servizio veloce. Da un po’ impressione di posto molto ‘da pullman’ anche se la qualità è ottima. Il conto abbastanza caro, visto che sei a Buccinazxo ma la qualità del cibo era certamente buona
