La Griglia In Sauze d'oulx

Good food, excellent pizza, and average prices for a ski resort in high season. Recommended!

A cool cave like decor with a warm vibe and excellent Pizza The crema catalana was also very nice and served as a sweet ending to dinner paired with a great cup of very good coffee ☕

We were in Sauze d’Oulx on a skiing holiday and found Ristorante La Griglia to be an absolute gem. We’re from Ireland, and there were four of us — we ended up going three nights in a row because it was consistently great and, honestly, because it was always open. A lot of places in town seemed to close in the late afternoon (it felt like many were shut from around 3pm to 7pm) or would be closed by early evening, but La Griglia was reliably open, even late. We even went in at around 10pm on a Saturday and had no issues at all — such a relief after a full day on the slopes. The dining area is really nice — warm, comfortable, and a lovely spot to relax. Prices were very reasonable, especially the pizzas, which were around €10 and absolutely delicious every time. Great food, great value, and the opening hours alone make it a must-visit. We really enjoyed it and would happily recommend it to anyone staying in the area.
