La Grata In Gradoli

A wonderful experience! We had a wonderful dinner, starting with a truly delicious seafood appetizer, packed with delicious selections: fantastic anchovies, mussels, marinated whitefish fillets, seafood salad... everything fresh, carefully prepared, and flavorful. Next, we had fried perch and fried baby lattarini, both light, crispy, and perfectly cooked. The grilled vegetables and purgatory beans on the side were also excellent. To finish, fresh strawberries and a delicious homemade tiramisu. Friendly service, a relaxing atmosphere, and the option of dining al fresco overlooking the lake during this time of year makes everything even more enjoyable. A 5-star dinner, we'll definitely be back!

It's a perfect setting for camping. There are lots of trees and plenty of shade. The showers and toilets are decent. We chose where we wanted to stay. We came without a caravan and parked our car wherever we wanted and set up our tent. It's a pristine environment right next to the lake.

A place to feel good! Absolute peace and quiet, away from the stress of everyday life – exactly what you need on vacation. A warm, family welcome, free choice of pitch, and delicious food in the on-site restaurant. If you're expecting luxury, you'll be disappointed. Camping, pure nature, and right on the lake.

The Atmosphere: The location is its real strength. Eating practically steps from the water, especially at sunset, offers a view of Lake Bolsena that alone is worth the ticket. Divine cuisine from appetizer to dessert 🍰

I discovered this little corner of Lake Bolsena and I must say it was a wonderful experience. La Grata restaurant is located practically on the lakefront, just steps from the beach, immersed in a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that instantly makes you feel like you're on vacation. The family-run business is evident in every detail: a sincere welcome, friendly service, and attentive customer service. The menu truly showcases the local area with top-quality ingredients and simple yet well-crafted dishes, where the quality of the ingredients takes center stage. The lake and seafood appetizers are excellent, the fish is incredibly fresh, the Purgatory beans are delicious, and the tastefully prepared vegetables are also delicious. The fried fish was light and crispy, while the homemade desserts truly deserve a special mention. The location is also beautiful: well-kept tables, a relaxed atmosphere, and the opportunity to eat practically overlooking the waters of Lake Bolsena, the largest volcanic lake in Europe. An authentic place, without excess, where you eat well and feel welcomed as guests, not just customers. Definitely a restaurant to return to.

Wonderful campsite, essential, tidy, clean and welcoming

We enjoyed the freedom we felt at the campsite (large grassy spaces) and Doris's cooking (congratulations, everything was delicious). The only thing that needs to be improved is the bathroom area. The location is fantastic, facing the lake, where even our furry friends were able to swim freely.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this campsite! The owners are incredibly friendly, warm, and extremely accommodating. It's especially nice that they speak both German and Italian, so you always feel well looked after. The food in the restaurant is excellent, fresh, and delicious. Every dish we tried was superb. The campsite itself offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy. Overall, there's a pleasant, family atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. A very nice, well-maintained campsite right on Lake Bolsena. A meadow with many trees and play areas for children. The sanitary facilities are spotless. There's a restaurant and café on site. The owner is very friendly. We were there in May 2026 from Aachen.

This was our third visit. Each time we received a friendly welcome and were able to choose our own pitch. It's the perfect place for those seeking relaxation, a chance to enjoy nature, peace and quiet, and a taste of the good life. The restaurant offers excellent cuisine, a wide selection of pizzas, and, importantly for us, a large variety of fish dishes.
