Excellent food, very friendly staff, spectacular location overlooking the Morimondo Abbey.

We came from Cornaredo to celebrate our Don's birthday. Excellent service and a very kind owner. Best risotto with osso buco I've ever had! A true favorite.

An excellent restaurant located in the ancient Cistercian court of Morimondo (a few kilometers from Milan). This restaurant serves primarily traditional Lombard cuisine. One of the best dishes is the risotto alla Milanese with ossobuco, a masterfully executed dish, personally the best I've ever tasted!! This time we wanted to try other dishes, and I must say they lived up to our expectations. I'm talking about a cheese appetizer accompanied by honey, pear jam, and sweet and sour onion. We then ordered two main courses: a sliced ​​beef steak with porcini mushrooms and a chicken supreme with paprika. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and made with excellent ingredients. This restaurant confirms itself as an excellent destination for enjoying excellent cuisine at a price commensurate with the quality of the ingredients and the service. This restaurant also offers a wide and excellent selection of craft beers. Reservations are not required during the week, but are strongly recommended on weekends due to the large crowds. Highly recommended.

The atmosphere was charming and convivial, and the appetizers were noteworthy, thanks to the excellent quality of the cheese and lard. There were also some surprises, such as the pear mousse with rosemary and onions accompanying the cheese platter. The first courses were decent, with the rice excellent. The pappardelle with mushrooms and the ones with wild boar ragù were less so, with one being too dry and the other too meaty, respectively. As for the dessert, it was truly average. For the price and the portions, I'm satisfied.

A "special" location just steps from Morimondo Abbey, good food, and welcoming service. The only flaw is the owner: he struggles to greet you, never smiles, and for the second time, he makes a serious mistake... he serves an already opened bottle of wine.

Sunday lunch (2 appetizers, 1 first course, 1 second course, 2 desserts, water and beer), nice place, friendly staff, standard dishes, but not worth the price. I expected something less.

We stopped for a quick dinner. The whole setting is lovely. We had two first courses (risotto with figs and goat cheese and pappardelle with wild boar ragù) and an appetizer of fried fish with a side of baked potatoes. Overall, it was good. Generous portions and reasonable prices. Unfortunately, we weren't able to try their beers as the one selected wasn't available at the time. They substituted them with German ones, which we enjoyed nonetheless.

We stopped for lunch after visiting the village of Morimondo. It's located in a beautifully maintained and charming courtyard. Traditional Lombard and international dishes, excellent meats, charcuterie boards, and cheese platters, generous portions. Excellent craft beer and a good wine list (including by the glass). We returned for Ferragosto, a guided menu, everything excellent and plentiful.
