My favourite ice-cream in all of Rome!

Inventive flavors, great texture, and kind staff who indulge me and my daughter in ordering using our broken Italian every time. Salt licorice and 100% chocolate with a dollop of panna and una cialde, perfection. Not only do we get our sweet treat here every few days, but a few weeks ago I purchased a ridiculous amount of gelato for a dinner party and all the guests raved about it. A highlight of our fall spent in Rome.

Takeaway only. The proposal concerns only particular variations. Definitely not cheap, on the contrary. Honestly, the queue on the pavement that you often see as you pass by seems a bit excessive. Very radical.

Cute little local gelato store away from the tourist hustle & bustle. I tried the raw pistachio, custard cream with juniper and passito wine. Good value and a tasty selection of flavours. 3 scoops for €4.50, will definitely return to try more options! The lady was friendly and accommodated my limited Italian which I am grateful for.

Simply spectacular! The incredible flavors, we ordered two small tubs with two flavors each, very well priced, I think they were €3 each and the flavors were riccota and caramelized mela🍎 (try it, the best flavor I've ever tried!!!) , tangerine🍊, great, salted caramel or something like that, and another one that I don't remember. It gives you the option of adding cream, totally homemade, incredible, you could tell it wasn't industrial. Highly recommended to go. Incredible how good it was💜

Es una heladería que cada vez que vas encuentras su encanto. La otra noche, después de cenar, pasamos por esa zona y decidimos parar. No es muy fácil llegar a esta tienda si no tienes coche, porque está bastante lejos del centro de la ciudad, se encuentra en el corazón del barrio Monteverde Vecchio , en una especie de meseta justo encima de Trastevere. Siempre pedimos los mismos sabores que son chocolate negro, pistacho... mis sabores a leche cremosa... Entre otras cosas, solo usan leche de cabra maltesa, que es más digerible y ligera. Solo podemos recomendarlo porque en nuestra opinión es una de las mejores heladerías de Roma. En una esquina de esta heladería, que es muy pequeña y con un estilo chic ligeramente gordito, hay una nevera con botellas de leche fresca de cabra a la venta.

L’artigianalità e la qualità dei prodotti nessuno la mette in dubbio, ma non è stato di mio alto gradimento per un semplice motivo: troppi gusti gourmet portano ad un risultato con un sapore non definito, si sente il prodotto usato ma non riesce ad incidere sul palato. Il bancone infatti vanta una vastità di scelta non indifferente proprio di gusti diversi dal solito, forse un’esagerazione. Posso anche giustificare il prezzo per una porzione piccola di 3,50€ data la qualità, ma quello che non accetto è l’esclusivo utilizzo della coppetta che lascia al gelato sul fondo il sapore della carta. Saranno stati forse i gusti che ho provato a non farmi innamorare di questo posto ma se mai dovessi averne l’occasione sicuramente mi piacerebbe riprovarlo, perché come detto in precedenza, la qualità c’è, deve essere solo gestita meglio.
