La Giummara In Salemi

We went on Saturday evening with friends, and we immediately found the kindness and hospitality very welcome. Since it was our first time, the waiter recommended it to us. What can I say about the impeccable food? The waiters were always attentive and, above all, always smiling, even when the rooms were full. We will definitely continue to go there. Recommended.

Clean, spacious, and quiet rooms. Excellent restaurant. Breakfast at partner bars. The central bar is recommended.

-Generosity and local flavor at La Giummara (Salemi)- We ate at La Giummara and left more than satisfied. We started with a very complete mixed appetizer, combining cured meats, cheeses, bruschette, fried foods, and even a bit of tabbouleh, a perfect reflection of the most traditional Sicilian cuisine. Then came the main courses: a pizza with anchovies, olives, and onions with a crispy and flavorful dough; a mixed meat platter with grilled cured meats, sausages, pork chops, and stuffed pieces; a well-seared and juicy Florentine ribeye steak; plus grilled vegetables and grilled sea bass that completed a hearty meal. For dessert, a mandarin sorbet. The best part was, without a doubt, the quantity and price, difficult to match in the area. The worst part was the wait time between courses, somewhat long considering the pace of service. Overall, an ideal place for those looking to eat well and a lot, with honesty and homemade flavor, in a simple and family-friendly atmosphere.

My partner and I stopped at this place two weeks ago during our vacation: excellent food, definitely worth trying the tasting menu if you're in good shape. Reasonable prices. The icing on the cake are the friendly and incredibly nice owners (and staff in general). WELL DONE!
