La Giostra In Cervia

This is our third time back and it's a sure thing. The quality of the food, service, and atmosphere is always top-notch! Well done!

Virtually immersed between the Cervia salt pans and a somewhat marshy area, the place is quite dispersive, with outdoor tables at least 100 meters from the kitchen, which explains why half the dishes on the menu are cold or raw... I wasn't particularly enthusiastic about it, and I don't think I'll return, but that's just my personal opinion.

Excellent restaurant and dishes that are a pleasure for the eyes and the palate. Very beautiful place.

The location is beautiful, well presented, and the evening is a very pleasant one. The waiters are all very kind and knowledgeable, and the menu offers some wonderful options. However, although we found the appetizer truly excellent in terms of flavors and original choices, and the risotto was good, we found the grilled or pan-fried fish in the off-menu dish to be very dry and very "ordinary" in flavor, despite the offerings and the price of each dish. The prices are quite high, even the cover charge (€3). We can't say we woke up feeling hungry, but for three of us, sharing an appetizer, a main course each, a dessert, water, and two glasses of wine, we spent €45 each. Overall, we had a good time, but for that kind of expense, we would have expected much, much more! If not in the portions (which were small!), at least in the refinement of the dish or in the thoughtful combinations, cooking methods, dressings, and side dishes. If when you leave three out of three people say “that’s fine, but I wouldn’t go back,” I might think about it for a moment.

Reservation accepted late in the evening, we were greeted by extremely friendly and helpful staff. The food was truly delicious and excellent value. Many compliments.

Special mention to the waiters, who were very, very kind and attentive! We went for aperitivo time, a 2-for-1 deal with a spritz or beer overlooking the salt flats with a sunset view. We then continued our dinner outside in another wing, with a carousel of appetizers, plus shrimp and tuna tartare and fried fish to share. Everything was delicious, and I repeat, special mention to the service.

Excellent restaurant, perhaps one of the best in Ravenna for its consistently top-quality ingredients. The outdoor area has a great atmosphere.

A truly unique place; the outdoor setting in the summer is truly breathtaking, especially at sunset with the lights of the salt flats and the sky. The quality of the food and excellent service make it a place definitely worth trying. Prices are moderately high, but in line with the location and service.

Locale ben tenuto ed arredato, ubicato in una ottima posizione a margine delle saline; parcheggio auto ampio. Servizio veloce, gentile e competente. Menù chiaro e con il giusto numero di piatti (non troppi !!). Buona anche la carta dei vini. Ordinati 1 fritto di calamari spillo, cappelletti alle vongole in guazzetto di latte di cocco e lime, 2 tartare di pesce, 1 crema di patate capesante e bacon, 2 calamari ripieni (forse il piatto meno riuscito, a mio avviso troppo “piatto” come gusto con poca spinta direi), poi 2 dessert, 1 sorbetto, vino e 2 acque. A parte quanto detto a proposito dei calamari ripieni, tutte le portate sono risultate di buona qualità ed anche di giusta quantità. Conto di €160,40 ed al riguardo devo che, avendo prenotato con Fork, senza dovere dire nulla è stato stato molto correttamente applicato lo sconto previsto. In sostanza prezzi adeguati al tipo di locale ed alla qualità di quanto servito.

Locale bello su un parco sulle saline, personale molto cordiale e accogliente . Cane ben accetto. Il menù offre una buona scelta di piatti di pesce con qualche opzione per chi non gradisce pesce. Abbiamo gradito molto il gewurztraminer così come il dolce fuori menu cannoli siciliani con pistacchio e crema di ricotta. Antipasti abbiamo ordinato Crudite' 7 ostriche e 3 gamberi rossi... Sono arrivati 3 ostriche e un misto di Crudi ... I camerieri hanno prontamente rimediato portandoci le ostriche mancanti. Ostriche e gamberi discreti ma non entusiasmanti. Le tartare di tonno e salmone poco saporite mentre quella di pesce bianco molto meglio. Poi spiedoni di gamberi kataifi... Buoni ma porzione eccessiva per una porzione... Un piatto che mi aspetterei in un ristorante giapponese. Cappelletti con Vongole in guazzetto di latte di cocco... Piatto interessante, saporito ma le Vongole hanno un sapore troppo delicato che in un piatto così saporito erano praticamente insapori... Consiglierei di sostituirle con un pesce dal sapore molto più intenso come un Baccalà o salmone affumicato. Poi un tris di secondi. Una tagliata di tonno con sedano e verza fuori menù buono, poi calamaro ripiano di cavolo viola ... Un piatto che non ho capito con un sapore indecifrabile e infine fritto misto senza infamia e senza lode. Con due bottiglie di vino il conto è stato 188€... Un filo troppo per la qualità dei piatti assaggiati
