Invited to celebrate a birthday in excellent company, we found this place to be ideal for the event with a room practically all our own. Quick and professional table service with friendly staff. The menu offers a decent choice of dishes that can satisfy all palates. In particular, I recommend it to those who like wild boar ragù because for the first time I enjoyed it cooked in their own way with a small dose of chilli which gave it that extra note of flavor that I really appreciated without burning. The outdoor environment is large and has a decent swimming pool to enjoy in the summer months.

What can I say... Restaurant in the countryside of San Miniato, managed very well by the owner and friendly and kind staff. Excellent courses and menus of ten.

25/07/2025: A very good option for gluten-free pasta. My daughter went to Lea Key and was warmly welcomed. Almost every dish could be made gluten-free by swapping the pasta for gluten-free spaghetti. The price and taste were very good, so we were happy to eat here again. The atmosphere outside was also very pleasant, at the end of Pisa's pedestrian zone.
20/07/2025: I stopped by without a reservation. The atmosphere was nice, but it took a long time for the food to be served. Fried sardines were 13 euros, so it was not good value for money.

12/05/2025: Nice location, very friendly staff. Wines good!!! Appetizer too. Main course don't take the lamb chops because they are heavily breaded and seem to be fried and therefore ruined. Octopus ok.
06/05/2025: The last visit to the Osteria dei Poeti really left a big smile on my lips. Currently the only company in Volterra that creates a perfect union between the tradition of tastes and refinement of technique, in my opinion. The flavor of the confit tomatoes of the tartlet, an incredibly light and crunchy pastry, is strong and enveloping. The duck breast leaves you speechless, truly perfect, worthy of the Chef who enriched his training by spending years in Paris. To underline on a positive note the Sala manager, precise, prepared and attentive to every need. Recommended for any occasion, from the most formal to simple stops without plans. Thanks Chef, see you soon.
