It was recommended to me by a market stall holder who had a clothing stall nearby, I must say that the value for money is unquestionable. Excellent professionalism and good food! They are also very fast

Ristorante "spartano" accanto alla pittoresca piazza di S. Ambrogio con piatti tipici della cucina toscana. Per un pranzo tra amici è veramente il massimo. Servizio cortese, piatti buoni e prezzi onesti.

Spaghetti alla carrettiera very good, spicy and al dente. Environment frequented by locals, not tourists. Quick lunch, also ready meals and takeaway.

A lot of locals eat here… The food is simple, well-sourced and nicely cooked. There are some Tuscan dishes too. 🍝
The seafood & meat are a highlight. The pizzas are thin based with lightly salted & seasoned crusts… 🙂
My Italian is awful but the servers spoke good English and were very accommodating. 😎
The house red went down very easily… 🍷
It can be busy in the evenings during or just before the weekend so you may want to book ahead or have a drink whilst you wait for a table… 😁
It may look more like a cafe than a restaurant but don’t let that deceive you! I enjoyed my meals there due to less pretentiousness… 🤓

DONT WALK AWAY!!! I know this doesn’t look like a sit down place at first glance but don’t be fooled! We almost walked away but looked at reviews and decided to go in and the food was SO GOOD!! We got the meats and cheese appetizer (probably meant for 3-5 people not 2 but still worth it), sliced beef, calamari pasta, tiramisu, and the house white. Everything was so good and reasonably priced!

Una scoperta inattesa:cenare bene nel centro di Firenze senza dover vendere un rene per pagare il conto! Eravamo anche in parecchi e nessuno è rimasto poco contento, anzi! Porzioni abbondanti,cibo ben cucinato, con buon rapporto costo/qualità. Difetti:attesa troppo lunga per alcuni piatti e il locale non certo invitante
