Very friendly staff, welcoming place, speed in bringing the requested dishes, perfect portions for eating both first course, second course and dessert without feeling weighed down at the end also due to the quality of the dishes! Definitely recommended even if the road can be a bit busy due to the numerous bends

Warm and friendly service: the staff demonstrate that they have passion and desire to do things. Excellent food, the quality is felt in every course. Prices more than reasonable for the portions and quality of service. We will definitely return and congratulate the staff!

Non posso che spendere belle parole per questo ristorante ed i suoi gestori. Il luogo è in cima ai colli, domina i dintorni e prende l ultimo sole. Buon menu di montagna con funghi, cervo, amari locali etc. La padrona è la collega sono amabili e gentilissime. Si passa una piacevole serata con buon cibo e gradevoli chiacchiere. Prezzi del tutto onesti.

Very nice evening with food and wine pairing. Game charcuterie, fresh homemade pasta, venison tagliata. Very good food and very good service. We will return with pleasure!

We have a second home in these parts and every time we come we don't miss dinner here. The food is always excellent and there are often themed evenings and off-season menus that complement the already excellent offer. Furthermore, the managers are very courteous and do not fail to pamper their customers in the best possible way. Highly recommended.

I went for lunch today with my wife, the place is very welcoming, we ate some excellent tagliatelle with wild boar ragù and some exceptional nocchi with gorgonzola, both homemade pasta to start with, then we had a slice of beef with porcini mushrooms, the meat very tender. Low prices. Highly recommended

Siamo stati per un evento per apericena, cibo ottimo, pasta, ragù fatta in casa, carne eccezionale. Servizio gentile. Ambiente tranquillo nella natura ,senza traffico, senza altre abitazioni. Immersi nella natura.

18/07/2024: Bit overrated. The food was quite expensive and of medium quality. Staff was not friendly. We had a reservation and were told we could sit outside if we came back in 5 minutes. 5 minutes later the table outside had been given to another and the waiter basically told us to sit inside or not eat at all.
18/07/2024: Shut up and come here! It's amazing! Ok, I'll give more details. The food was amazing. The chef clearly loves to cook and the food reflects that. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely. Only criticism is that I'm going to get fat given the constant temptation of amazing food.

Ristorante Il Verbano

18/08/2024: Very nice atmosphere and a great terrace in the summer to spend a long time outside in the evening. The menu is divided into three menus, where everyone is sure to find something that suits them. We were absolutely satisfied with our four-course menu for EUR 85 and didn't regret skipping the six-course menu (EUR 110), as the portions were still quite large. The service was very friendly and accommodating and the food didn't take long to arrive. Of course it's a little expensive, but at least in our case it was justified.
15/08/2024: This hotel is a hidden gem almost in Lake Maggiore. With many rooms having beautiful terraces, and a breakfast room with fantastic view. The most beautiful experience is the restaurant. If you are staying in Stresa and want to dine, they organise boat after hours. One way is covered by them I believe. I have stayed here twice and loved my experience, both the food and the atmosphere. I have also dined here 3 times already and highly recommend to try the lobster pasta. It’s an absolute must.
