The best ice cream I've ever had. The boss can speak Chinese and takes care of every customer. If I can give it 100 points, I will. He knew we wanted to eat the oolong tea flavor, but he didn't give us a scoop! Twice!

The BEST gelato we have had in Italy (perhaps the best ice cream ever?). Not too sweet & the pistachio is to die for (we loved every flavor we tried though - hazelnut, dark chocolate, ricotta orange, lemon, and straciatella as well!).

Run, do not walk here to get a cannoli! Everyone seemed to be buying gelato- but we got a cannoli and they filled it fresh right then with gelato or ricotta. We picked ricotta with chocolate chips. It was AMAZING! So smooth. So fresh. Not gritty or sugary. Absolutely the best cannoli we have ever had.

best pistachio ice cream I've ever had!! I had a medium one and it was so good that I had to go back and order another one. In addition, the service was super friendly and they even showed me the pistachios used to make the ice cream and told me that they roast them themselves in the store to make the gelato.

The pistachios were white, and although they didn't have the typical nutty flavor, they were delicious. And it tasted like oolong tea... haha ​​I was curious so I ordered it and it was delicious.

Hands down the best gelato I have had anywhere. We had a few different flavors, the Mandarino & Arancia and Pera e Formaggio stood out as the most unique and amazing flavors. They had some great local items such as honey to purchase as well that also had unique flavors. Make sure to visit this place while in Florence.

20/05/2025: My Wife and I had an incredibly romantic evening with Alfredo and the staff here. Great wine recommendations, assorted cheeses, pasta and dessert. A different environment from other restaurants in the area with attentive and knowledgeable staff. And don’t let them send you away without Vecchio Amaro.
