La Gargote In Sestriere

The biggest let down is the fact you have to use outside porta loos once the restaurant closes. If you are there for lunch the food and facilities are great. That is all closed for apres, and the toilets are shocking outside.

The place is absolutely ok. Good food, large portions. Delicious focaccia. There is no self-service, which is a big plus because there is no chaos.

Went to the Wednesday night Apres ski. It was great fun. Cocktails are strong and the DJ's were good. Some very iffy music choices, proper cheese. Some great dance tracks at points tho. Something for everyone.

We spent a week in Sestriere, from January 25 to February 1. We went to this place several times after skiing, between 5:30-6:00 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. The atmosphere and music are great to dance non-stop. Good service. They have a lot of staff. You meet a lot of people of all nationalities. The only bad thing is the mini portable bathrooms outside and without light, not recommended, small and there is no place to hang your clothes or bag.

Super nice Après-ski bar + terrace! Great DJ, nice music and fantastic atmosphere.
