Perfect breakfast at Gardenia on Via del Triumvirato in Bologna, inspired by Sicilian pastries: crispy croissants with generous fillings, excellent coffee, and always friendly staff. A true neighborhood favorite!

Amazing rotisserie chicken with potatoes. Freshly baked, plump panzerotti. A simple atmosphere with a spacious outdoor patio. Fast and friendly waitresses. Fair prices.

Whole chicken skewered on the spot, very good, super seasoned, with fries and croquettes, everything fresh and on the spot.
All for €15, much better than going to the supermarket and getting it for €8-9.
They have many locations in Bologna, but some have closed. I'm a regular customer, always perfect and treated well.
On Via Triumvirato, super close to the airport and the center of Bologna. I recommend it to everyone!!!
Especially Sicilians.

Stopped at this local restaurant before going to the airport.
Was a great honest local place to eat before getting our flight.
Local workers getting lunch
What a surprise to find.
The food was delicious and fresh.
We had sea food and pastas, this was as good as any food we had on our holiday.
There was free street parking.
Some times the least expected places can be the best experience.
It was a proper day to day local Italian experience.
Very reasonable price as well.
A must stop rather than eating at the airport.
Highly recommended.

The four stars are for the food only because I only tried the cannoli, which fully deserve the adjective "Sicilian" and are excellent. The staff is efficient and friendly, and the atmosphere is ordinary but comfortable and spacious, especially considering the outdoor seating.
