La Gallina Fumante In Bereguardo

It is an old-fashioned inn where it feels like guests in a friend's house: the place is small (always better to book for Sunday) but it creates family. I use the term "friends" because of the bubbly and welcome welcome from who, I believe, is the owner. In short, you feel at home and in excellent company. The dishes are good and plentiful (fixed menu). One flaw is the parking, on the street. To avoid arguments, I recommend not parking in the courtyard next door: some of the courtiers are hostile to the itinerant invasion (a word to the wise)

Excellent experience, all the dishes were really appetizing despite being a fixed menu and this was really the surprise. To be repeated

Very good food. Fast service. For lunch during the week the prices are: First and side menu: €7. Main menu and side dish: €11 First, second and side dish menu: €14 Drinks excluded. Dessert: €5. There isn't much parking, except along the road.

Telephone reservation. We are told, to be fair, that there is a fixed menu of €35 including water and coffee. Wine and other spirits excluded. By doing this we avoid surprises upon arrival and therefore, rewarding transparency which is a rare commodity these days, we accept. Local just outside the town of Bereguardo, where the view is lost on the surrounding rural areas. There is no parking available but the small road that continues after the tavern allows you to leave your cars on the side of the road. Characteristic interiors, rich in details and with a unique warmth. Greeted by the very kind staff, they let us sit in the room. There is not a large capacity and perhaps for this reason you really feel at home. An off-menu entrée: very good mortadella and, ironically, not greasy or with the feeling of fat. Excellent start. The expected courses follow, in the order of the menu. The quality of the raw materials and the skill in the preparation made this lunch a memorable and satisfying experience. Not to mention the quantities, well dosed with a tendency towards maximum satiety. At each course, the staff arrived, attentive and courteous, and made sure to ask if everything was to our liking. Agreed price respected without surprises and (in our case) an excellent frozen limoncello offered after settling the bill. The friendliness and friendliness seal our visit. Recommended to everyone.

Very relaxing restaurant in summer when you can eat outdoors. Very competitively priced menu 14 euros for a first course and a second course with side dish, the cuisine is excellent, the portions are right and the owner is very kind. The desserts are also good, especially the tiramisu
