09/12/2025: Everything was very good. Not cheap, but still in line with the prices of many other places.
17/11/2025: We really liked Taverna del Porto, a lovely pub on Via Armistizio that we tried last Saturday after having spotted it countless times while driving past. We arrived at 8:30 pm, more out of curiosity than anything else, and parked along Via Rovigo (unfortunately there's no dedicated parking area) and reached the entrance. The girls at the counter were very kind and welcomed us, immediately showing us to a free table on the covered veranda. This space was very nice, not crowded, well-heated by a couple of heaters, and with dim lighting that we certainly appreciated, especially when the rain got heavier (always relaxing to watch it behind glass and in the warmth). Browsing the menus 📋 we were particularly struck by one of the autumnal offerings 🍁🍂, which we then opted for, namely the "Yokai Burger" 🍔 with "wild boar marinated in red wine cooked in CBT and finished on the grill, mixed sautéed mushrooms, Morlacco Slow Food Presidium cheese and crispy polenta wafer". To complete the order also a "Leviatano" pulled pork sandwich (with pulled pork shoulder marinated in beer reduction, stringy cow's milk cheese, CBT egg, coleslaw and barbecue sauce), two cans of sparkling water 💧 (yes, here it is curiously served like this), an Americano 🍸 and, to finish the meal, two espresso coffees ☕️. Everything truly exquisite 😋 in terms of taste, quality of the raw materials and balance of flavors between the various ingredients; Both sandwiches, moreover, were served with delicious rustic French fries. It's also worth noting, as indicated on the menu 📋, that the establishment uses meat from 63 consortium family farms that raise Fassona Piemontese, a Slow Food Presidium since 1966. The service provided by the kind staff 👩👩🦱 is excellent, and the prices are average (by the way, €51.50 💶 total). The interior theme is pleasant and unique, with numerous furnishings that recall a nautical-maritime context ⚓️ (the "engine telegraph" in front of the counter is beautiful). The bathrooms are also nice, clean and tidy 🚽🧻🧴, completely "papered" with beer brand stickers 🍺 (with particular reference to the independent brewery "Liquida") and various celebratory posters. We definitely liked it, so I RECOMMEND IT 👍🏻.
