La Fraschetteria Di Mastro In Roma

We had dinner at the Mastro Giorgio restaurant in Rome and overall the food was really good. The dishes were tasty, well presented and prepared with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere of the place is welcoming, which makes the experience pleasant in many ways. Prices a little high. However, there was a small hiccup regarding the service. We had asked for glasses of wine, but we were brought a whole bottle, which we had not asked for but which unfortunately we had to pay for, even though it was not what we had requested. Additionally, we had only ordered one liquor, but two were brought, resulting in a charge for both. These small misunderstandings affected the experience, which otherwise would have been perfect. A little more attention to the details of the service would make the experience truly excellent. Having said that, the quality of the food is certainly worth a visit, but I recommend paying attention to what is served at the table or at least reiterating what you ask for and getting back what you didn't ask for. In general, a restaurant worth trying, but with a little more care in managing the service.

Excellent carbonara and I recommend you take the chicory, delicious! Super nice place with a lot of attention to detail, Veronica served us very well, but in general all the staff were very friendly and attentive. Advise!

Wonderful place, in the heart of Testaccio with very kind and helpful staff. A highly recommended Carbonara although with a small portion, unfortunately the artichoke I took only tasted of fried, But I'm sure it was a coincidence. I will definitely go back.

Mastro Giorgio's fraschetta was a very pleasant surprise. Very tasty high level Roman cuisine. Excellent wines. The service is excellent and the place welcoming. I recommend the fried appetizers with the boiled meatball on the tagliapò sauce and the cheese and pepper with chicory. Tiramisal is a fabulous dessert. But everything is good!

La fraschetta di mastro Giorgio non offre una cucina tipicamente romana, ma una cucina ricercata con piatti originali e gustosi. In estate è possibile mangiare sotto un pergolato che ricorda, appunto, le fraschette dei Castelli Romani. Unica pecca... il prezzo: davvero troppo alto. E' comunque un ristorante dove vale la pena andare.

Assolutamente consigliabile. Era la prima volta che andavamo e ci torneremo sicuramente quando torneremo a Roma. Disponibilità e cortesia del personale, cibo assolutamente di qualità. Piatti ricercati con un gusto assolutamente chiaro e unico. Da provare

We found the restaurant by chance and it was a great success. Exquisite attention, exceptional product and the cuisine is unsurpassed. 100% Italian and 100% local people as clients. Excellent value for money. Authentic Roman food. Without a doubt, we will repeat.
