I've known Marco and his restaurant since it opened in November 2006. My first visit was in early 2007, when the place had just opened. And I liked it immediately. You know what? You immediately got the impression that they wanted to "do things right." And they have always succeeded. Today, the restaurant has changed a lot since its inception. The desire and the ability, ever greater and more evident, to do things to the best of their ability remain. In this sense, the recent "acquisition" of chef Francesco represented another huge step forward. The astro parmigiana is wonderful, the lamb brodettato is fantastic, the Willy Wonka chocolate dessert is legendary... And there's certainly so much more to enjoy and fall in love with... Thank you! Forget the more high-sounding and "touristy" names and come to this little oasis of peace, flavor, and tradition. If you're looking for a place to eat cheaply, this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for a unique experience, you'll find yourself in a place where every dish is the result of careful study, research, and refined pairings, without sacrificing tradition. Generous portions, unusual pairings rooted in tradition, and prices even lower than the competition (despite the top-quality ingredients). Try it—you won't regret it!

On Sunday evening, after several years of knowing the menu had changed, my wife and I decided to try it. I must say, I was right because everything was perfect. The quality and preparation of the ingredients are excellent, the dishes intriguing and stimulating in a creative and sublime way. The service was friendly and welcoming, the waitress (I don't remember her name) was very friendly, the atmosphere was both understated and elegant, and the seating was very comfortable. Good value for money. Finally, in Testaccio, something that allows you to discover different flavors with some traditional dishes, both revisited and unconventional. I will gladly return. A special thanks to Marco, an excellent host.

Mixed experience. Definitely felt more catered to locals than tourists. Service was very slow – we were there for almost two hours and had to remind staff about one order, although the waitress was polite and apologetic. Food was decent but nothing special, and £143 for three people felt overpriced for the overall experience.

Excellent hospitality, delicious food. The portions are quite large; it's impossible to finish both the appetizers and main courses once you've ordered them. You can order to share and try different dishes.

I appreciated the freshness of the ingredients and the way they were served: each dish arrived impeccable, both in presentation and flavor. The service was attentive, thoughtful, and never intrusive. The setting is refined and elegant, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Considering the high quality of the food, the price was more than satisfactory. As a tourist, I can say I had a wonderful time, nothing like the many picture-perfect restaurants that crowd the historic center.
