Locale piccolo ma accogliente. Il personale di sala è stato cortese, disponibile e gentile. Buona la selezione dei vini sfusi che in bottiglia. Molto buoni i primi piatti ma due note di merito vanno al coniglio ripieno con salsicce ed olive ed alle patate al forno. Sfizioso ed intrigante il dolce della casa che da il nome al locale. Nel complesso molto buono il rapporto qualità/quantità/prezzo.

We were there last Sunday. We had three first courses, three desserts, a quarter of wine and water for €66.00. Let's start by saying that the place is small but very popular, we didn't have a reservation and they placed us outside. The owners are kind and polite. The fettuccine with wild boar in white sauce are good, while the covatelli alla vitorchianese lack character, a slightly anonymous dish. As for the desserts, both the caramel cheesecake and the ricotta and chestnut tart are tasty and delicate, it's a shame that the portions didn't seem adequate to us. A quarter of a slice of tart can't cost €6.00. The quality/price ratio, also in relation to this last aspect, didn't seem optimal to us.

We had dinner in this place with a welcoming atmosphere. The service was fast, the food excellent: I tried an excellent venison with potatoes and my husband the pork shank. We drank a glass of excellent merlot.

passing through this little spot on the way back from Viterbo has now become a must!
I made up a few stories to convince 2 friends to do the inspection today, yesterday was closing day to give them a nice surprise
On the way back, in fact, I migrated towards Vitorchiano to show him the medieval village
No excuse was more pinocchio than this, so when they asked me what we were doing in front of the Haunted Apple, I told them that we should have eaten something, right??
Our table was already reserved and Gianluca's welcome did not take long to wait
We immediately felt lost without our Paterno di Trappolini, but then he took care of it personally and the legendary bottles of pure Sangiovese magically popped up
The menu is even richer than ever, the addition of mozzarella in carrozza, flan of fresh porcini mushrooms and carpaccio marinated with parmesan and fresh truffle make the starter a rich quartet of delights
Then to please, but we weren't hungry, but peckish so we asked for a trio of ravioli with cheese, pepper and crispy carbonara-style gigiale, tagliatelle with white wild boar ragout and a very delicate bean soup with croutons and bacon
What a delight, the ravioli are always excellent and undisputed, but the real surprise were the beans and tagliatelle, so tasty and not at all intrusive, in fact the wild boar ragù was even delicate and enveloping in its game flavours.
Then just because you have a little space left, you would never want to miss the low temperature rabbit roll with berries and the duck breast glazed with a veil of caramelized Tropea onion, very large dishes and brilliant and expert preparation
Then, as you do at a banquet with friends, you meet a former wine representative who lets you taste 2 large bottles, in Alta Laga and a wonderful Merlot, as shown in the photos and you realize that your choice is shared with other customers who are satisfied with the raw materials and do not miss the opportunity to bring their friends to enjoy Gianluca's friendship together
We exchange the wine and the Mela Stregata dessert with the very perfect Strega reduction, a fairy tale, then a fantastic blackberry tart and coffee
What more do you want??? A panacea to get rid of the stress accumulated in 2 really heavy days
Then a chat with the Chef who asks you for an opinion on everything, his open and engaging character, he exudes passion from every pore and then you go as far as organizing a lunch at my friends' house in Abruzzo all together

Un buon ristorante buone le proposte dei primi e così dei secondi. Ho preso scialatielli all' amatriciana e cosce di faraona alle prugne e cipolle borettane . Per concludere con crostata di ricotta e castagne e una grappa barricata. Soddisfatto!
