A wonderful landing in the eternal city. Exceptional attention since the waiter made a great effort to speak and explain everything to us in detail in our language. All the dishes were great and with generous portions. A quality/price that is difficult to beat in Rome.

The first time by chance I went to eat with a friend and we were very satisfied. The following week for Valentine's Day I brought my wife who was impressed by the quality of the dishes. Very friendly and customer-focused staff, fair prices. Advised

All very very good, no dish was less than 8/10. From appetizer to dessert!!. Service 10/10. The only small flaw is that the place is small and we Italians shout instead of talking... Okay guys, you're very good

Excellent Roman cuisine. The porchetta meatballs were exceptional and many want the carbonara with truffle. Very attentive service. Correct prices. For my taste it's better not to have live football on television. There's no need for it.

Small but nice place, the dishes we had were good, well made but the service is completely disconnected, they don't communicate so several things that were asked were incorrect or lacking. In this sense there is much to improve.

23/02/2025: Excellent dishes, quality products and execution! We ate really well, which would already be enough. Instead, the service also deserves a special mention. “Informal” environment (with a positive meaning) with the staff who were very professional and made us feel at ease right away. Keep it up :) Recommended!
19/02/2025: Family birthday dinner, excellent service, attention and discretion which we all greatly appreciated. Dishes executed to perfection, one better than the other, bruschetta, carbonara, gnocchi with tomato sauce, artichokes, breast alla fornara, all really good. Birthday surprise dessert much appreciated. Truly a beautiful birthday party. Elegant, discreet environment with lots of space between the tables. Flaminio lacked such tasty cuisine. Well done.

Trattoria Al Gran Sasso

01/03/2025: During my six-night stay in Rome, I discovered this beautiful restaurant on my second day during an afternoon walk. Drawn by its charm and the sight of loyal locals filling every table—dressed up for dates or lively gatherings—I immediately booked a table for dinner that evening. From that night on, I returned two more times with my family, unable to resist its inviting atmosphere, authentic Italian cuisine, and exceptional hospitality. The restaurant offers a delightful selection of antipasti, superb main courses, and delicious desserts, all served by the warm and welcoming gentlemen who make the experience even more special. It was everything I had hoped for in an Italian trattoria. Absolutely loved this place.
26/02/2025: Excellent place, good food at a good price. The location is welcoming and typical, with a sense of authenticity. The staff are polite, friendly, accommodating and efficient. The menu includes typical dishes of the Roman and central Italian tradition. As an appetizer we had the duck carpaccio, delicious. Pasta alla matriciana was delicious (even if it released a little too much oil on the bottom for my taste), as was the cacio e pepe. I would perhaps have preferred the kebabs with a little more seasoning or a sauce. To conclude, as a dessert, a delicious tiramisu to share. Final cost accessible and reasonable for what we got.
