Quite amazing restaurant to take a delicious meal. The service is nice and kind. The atmosphere is quite local, but in rush hours it is a bit noisy - we liked it. I recommend it 👌

Excellent experience in every way! The quality of the products is really high, especially the buffalo mozzarella, very fresh, creamy and with an authentic flavor: a real delight! The carbonara was simply perfect, creamy to the right point, with well-balanced ingredients and extraordinary flavor and I can say with certainty the best I have ever eaten! The waiting times were short despite the turnout and the staff was always kind, helpful and attentive. A place where you gladly return, highly recommended to those looking for quality and hospitality.

I have seen this fraschetta evolve over the years from 15/20 covers to double. Found by chance in the first years of university, as happens with the good things in life: without expecting it. It is one of those places that tell their own story: sincere, genuine, with generous portions and real smiles. The perfect place to bring friends from out of town who come to visit you or who pass through Rome, those who ask you: "But where can you eat a real carbonara in Rome?" And you bring them here, make the right order (house appetizer, a nice traditional first course and the wine) and watch them fall in love. Because here you eat a lot, you eat well, and you leave with pants that ask for mercy. But happy, eh. Happy as only a forkful of carbonara (even with truffle) can make you. Thanks to those who keep true Roman cuisine alive with passion, hospitality and that homely touch that makes you feel part of the family. A fraschetta like this is not forgotten: it is preserved in the heart and in the stomach. Note of merit open kitchen ✌🏻

03/07/2025: The terrace is undoubtedly the highlight of the place, spacious and pleasant for an outdoor meal. On the other hand, the food was simply okay. The dishes are adequate, but nothing special for a restaurant. A large part of the menu had been replaced without an official update, forcing the staff to verbally announce the numerous changes, which made ordering confusing and cumbersome. The server was very friendly and attentive, but the absence of a sommelier quickly became noticeable, especially given the wide selection of wines on offer. Finally, the spritz we were served lacked bubbles, as if the prosecco had been open for a while. The prices are reasonable, but the overall experience still fell short of our expectations.

The menu of the VII COORTE restaurant is a true celebration of Roman cuisine and beyond, offering different types of tasty dishes with an honest quality-price ratio considering the area in which it is located and the service offered. The structure has a very intimate terrace suitable for romantic dinners with your partner, where you will be served by very prepared and expert staff who will offer you to taste a wide choice of gourmet dishes accompanied by a vast selection of wines. After dinner you can immerse yourself in the fantastic reality of Trastevere characterized by many streets full of small clubs, music and entertainment. Always aiming for guarantee and quality I highly recommend it!

24/07/2025: Small nice restaurant in a small side street. The most delicious food and good service. Good atmosphere and at a very affordable price. The waiter was very attentive and good at recommending/guiding and telling about the food
24/07/2025: Dined here late July 2025, family of 5 adults and two kids aged 6 and 9, having been recommended by friends. Price point is a notably lower than most surrounding restaurants. Restaurant appearance inviting but lacking the bells and whistles of other restaurants, but that’s fine with us, as long as food and service is good. Very happy with the standard of both, so much so we broke our rule of not going back to the same place twice. Steak with Gorgonzola was excellent, quality cut cooked perfectly. Pizzas were excellent and a big hit with the kids, “best pizzas” they’d ever had apparently. Lasagne was excellent, far better than others we’d had in Rome, perfect balance of ingredients. Service really made the experience that much better. Unfortunately, didn’t get their names but both nights we were serviced by staff who made us feel so welcome and had banter with our kids - that little extra effort that always make the experience for diners (and especially their kids) memorable. Only reason we didnt give 5 star for atmosphere is because the location isn’t exactly the best although they make the most of what alfresco dining area they have, so it was still enjoyable. Literally the only criticism, at a stretch, is the Caprese Salad was a bit tight on Basil.
