La Frasca In Firenze

Con alcuni amici che già lo conoscevano ho cenato in questo locale un po' decentrato. L'impressione dall'esterno è quella del classico ristorante di periferia, di quartiere, con insegna luminosa un po' triste e ingresso un po' squallidino, che ti fa credere di trovare, al di là della porta, un ambiente dozzinale. Quale sorpresa nell'entrare invece in un locale piccolo ma elegante, sapientemente illuminato e arredato con un gusto che si rispecchia anche nel sottofondo musicale sempre gradevole e mai invadente. Ci accoglie, con una cortesia di altri tempi, il sobrio titolare, che si muove nel locale con passo felpato e interagisce con gradevole cordialità asburgica. Tovaglie di tessuto spesse e pulite accompagnano un pasto delizioso. Il ristorante offre una scelta ristretta di piatti (preventivamente riscontrabile - ho scoperto in seguito - nel fedele menu pubblicato online), ma piuttosto originale e comunque varia, di ottima qualità. Assolutamente eccellenti i dolci di produzione propria, che sarebbero di per sé un buon motivo per ritornare. Prezzi assolutamente onesti. Decisamente consigliato.

Delicious dishes, atmospheric atmosphere and very knowledgeable staff. Don't miss the dessert made like a large dark chocolate!!!!! Highly recommended!!!

Not much to say, a great little place. Well furnished and very well frequented. Peaceful and relaxing. The owner has simply exquisite and jovial manners. The wears are of high quality without frills or unnecessary bombast. The wine list is not very extensive but those that are there go perfectly with the menu. To escape the predatory bedlam of the Center this is a very valid expedient, a corner of quiet Tuscany without tricks and without deception.

We were staying in the local area and found this restaurant was recommended. I can see why! The atmosphere is very authentic and definitely not a tourist stop. We shared the gnocchi, lemon risotto and a pasta dish, the gnocchi was amazing and the flavour of lemon risotto 🤌 Highly recommend the panna cotta! Delicious. All very reasonably priced too.

Delicious homemade food and the best cheesecake I have ever eaten. Wonderful atmosphere and great prices. The service is excellent. If you’re visiting Florence, it’s definitely worth stopping by to see for yourself. An ideal spot for long evenings with wine. A truly unique place. I highly recommend it.

This is one of the greatest restaurants I have ever been to. The waiter is very polite, he gives you enough time to choose your dish. The interior design is delightful, and the food delights with its taste, appearance and smell. I would love to come back here whenever I visit Florence again. If it were possible, I would give it 6 stars. Grazie!

Great food, quiet atmosphere, good music in the background and you can talk without shouting!
