La Fortezza is a restaurant located within the walls of the beautiful historic center of Castiglione della Pescaia. The food is of excellent quality, the menu card allows a wide choice of dishes. The staff is professional and kind. I really appreciated the waiter's gesture in bringing a bowl of fresh water to my dog. Highly recommend, good value for money.

Die Qualität des Essens wurde nicht wie versprochen gehalten. Ein Burger mit einer kleinen halben Kartoffel kostet 16€.

Tomas the owner is the soul of the restaurant without a doubt. Welcoming and friendly and certainly shaped the staff too. Good food and great portions. I would absolutely recommend it

The evening in the restaurant was excellent. It was the first time I ate at this restaurant and I wasn't disappointed. On the contrary, the food was great and the service was extremely nice. The interior and exterior were very nice. There were beautiful paintings inside and the sections where you eat were very well divided. I recommend this restaurant to everyone who loves good but simple food.

Siamo stati in coppia verso la fine si settembre, nonostante le peripezie per raggiungere il posto siamo stati molto contenti di aver cenato presso la Fortezza, lo consigliamo sicuramente!

Went there twice in the last three days. First we got the last available table (without reservation) and received a great seat in the wine cellar which was basically a candle light dinner with perfect privacy. Staff was friendly & helpful and the owner is one cool dude! Food (Fiorentona, Carbonara & Seafood Carbonara) is amazing. 100% recommendation.

Excellent!! Excellent food, great service followed by well-filled plates with delicious food. At the beginning we were given a glass of champagne as an aperitif and then we were accompanied to the table. The menu was in Italian and in English anyway, gluten-free and vegetarian options were also offered. Local in a very nice alley and great atmosphere. Price performance is justified - portions are very large for a multi-course menu! Definitely worth a visit.

26/12/2024: The only place to eat in Montepescali that also serves as a bar and grocery store. You eat in the tavern below. Nice and welcoming young owner, good food, the only flaw was that the sautéed chicory crunched a bit and had too much oil for my tastes. Generous portions. Try it because it's worth it.
26/12/2024: Very characteristic place, and bar, grocery shop, and in the lower part a tavern-style restaurant. Original furnishings, clean, the owner is a friendly, cheerful, very active person. Good choice of dishes, if you want a wide choice of pizzas. Messina beer on tap, excellent. The dishes cooked correctly, adequate portions, which allow you to eat it all, without wasting food. Very tender meat, fried potatoes, impeccable cooking. Excellent experience. Price normal.
