A restaurant that has been frequented for some time now and I have always appreciated the level of service including the precious presence of the reception which offers assistance during the booking phase and entrance to the restaurant without distracting the dining room staff. The dishes based on fish and meat specialties from the Maremma are a delicacy. Another important aspect is that it is a structure organized to serve gluten-free dishes and people with celiac disease can enjoy delicious dishes. Preparation is necessary and I inform you that the restaurant, being inside the castle walls, can only be reached on foot. I recommend comfortable shoes for ladies.

Typical restaurant offering a large menu of both meat and fish, children's menu, menu for celiacs. Everything really great! Excellent dishes and service. I fully recommend it.

The restaurant is located within the walls of a castle, very nice. In the summer they have several tables outside, but if it's very hot, it's recommended to stay inside The staff are all extremely courteous, friendly and approachable. The girl at the reception offers you a welcome prosecco, which after the climb to get to the restaurant is truly a blessing. The food is really really good quality. Pretty quick service, considering they prepare everything on the spot. Whatever you order, it is prepared impeccably and with harmony of flavors (the lobster tagliolini and the pistachio-crusted tuna are excellent). The portions are not small at all. Very good house white wine, but they have many quality wines with labels. The prices considering the quantity of food are adequate I recommend it very highly

Everything was of the best quality so far, only the mussels were completely cooked through or had been heated to such an extent that they shrank small.

Top from A to Z! High quality, lots of choice and even a children's menu on top. We really liked the food, the staff was very friendly, prompt and child-friendly. A nice restaurant, great ambience with plenty of seating. However, difficult without a reservation (as it is very, very popular). There is also seating outside, but only for smaller groups (up to 4? people). We would choose this restaurant again and again. 100% recommendation

We had dinner two evenings in this restaurant, a particular little place, in the historic center of Castiglione. Good price quality, service as well. Reservation welcome...very popular
