While traveling through our ancestors' lands, we came across this restaurant with a truly fantastic view. The exterior is well-kept, but the veranda could use some renovation with mosquito nets on the sides, which might prevent bees, wasps, and the occasional blouse from entering the tables. The food was good, with good first courses, though the ravioli were perhaps undercooked. The second courses were good, but the side dishes could use more attention. We were tempted by the wood-fired shank, and were surprised by its size. I recommend sharing one between two or even three people, which the host who took our orders didn't recommend, and which, among other things, significantly increased the final bill. Overall: no.

Three friends and their wives. We spent a delightful evening enjoying the food, chatting, and Roberto, the owner, recommending what to eat. Excellent dishes of simple cuisine with locally sourced ingredients. Fresh produce and authentic flavors, excellent meat, and excellent handmade pasta. The strangozzi from the guesthouse are a must-try, not to mention the shin (very generous portions). The quality/price ratio is fair. The location is well-maintained, and the staff is friendly, professional, and welcoming. In the summer, you can also eat outside with a breathtaking view of Rome from afar. I definitely recommend trying it.

Strangozzi della Foresteria: a mystical experience! 🥰 Fresh produce and authentic flavors, excellent meat, excellent pasta. If only the table next door had been quieter... The panoramic garden is delightful.

Average...the food could be better...the prices are a bit high for the wild boar stew and tripe...the pizzas are worth trying...wonderful location 💕 The owner and his son are very kind and friendly.
