Great restaurant, homely atmosphere, excellent food. We arrived before opening hours and the owner still welcomed us and invited us in. We were very satisfied, I recommend it!

We went two days out of the five we spent in Rome, as we loved the first day and had to go back for the tagliatelle with mussels. The food was delicious, and they give you a free tapa as a starter and dessert. However, on the second day, it took 45 minutes for the food to arrive. You have to pay in cash.

We had dinner last night in a group of 5. First the service was great!!! Menu has plenty options from pizza to pasta, including risotto and deserts. People in my group ordered a variety of food. We had pizza, risotto, pasta and eggplant parmigiana, everything greatly done and tasted amazing. We had tiramisu for desert, home made was also great!! The service was fast and great! A great option if you are in the area and want an authentic local food! Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic spot in Rome!
The place is unique, with the kind of authentic Italian charm we love. The pasta dishes are incredibly delicious, flavorful, and generous—much better than in the more touristy places.
The owner and the whole team are really friendly, and the welcome is warm and genuine. We loved it from start to finish! A must-visit if you're ever in Rome. 🇮🇹✨

I went to "Forchetta D'Oro" for the first time 9 years ago, during my first visit in Rome and I thought that they had the most authentic Italian food that I ever tasted.
I went there today (February 2026) and I think that they have the best food that I have sampled in Rome yet. The prices are very reasonable. The service is speedy. Try it! You'll won't regret it.

Beautyful place, delicious lasagna, pasta alla carbonara and pizzas, very frendly and helpful ovner but desserts are terrible everything else is super tasty.

Absolutely fantastic. A truly authentic Roman restaurant. A great atmosphere guaranteed with the typical owner, waiter, cashier, etc. Delicious food. We loved it. Real life. No frills, nothing sterile.
