Let's make one thing clear right away; you don't have to be too sophisticated and you have to know how to play the game. With these two simple rules you can go to eat in a place with friendly service and excellent food. On Sunday lunch there is a fixed menu.

Essendo in zona, ci siamo finiti per caso a pranzo. Devo dire che ne è valsa la pena, il proprietario è accogliente e burlone e le cuoche sono bravissime! Il cibo è genuino. Se si è in zona consiglio di provarlo.

Nice "Piedmontese" environment, excellent value for money and lots of friendliness. During the week menu Euro 18 and on Saturday evening and Sunday see photo! It's a shame that the nearby sulfur source is abandoned. The municipal administrator should recover it.

Possibly few go to this restaurant since it is far away but it is excellent!!! Without a doubt you eat very well and at a better price.

Had lunch on mid-August, fixed Piedmontese menu, despite it being full, quick service, home-made dishes and everything good, often an encore seasoned entirely by the character that is Alberto as friendliness and "character".. To try again

09/01/2025: A place that creates that evening which is much more of a memorable experience than just "going to dinner". These are the small gems of Asti, Piedmonte and Italy on a whole. The host, the decor, the refined palate of the multicourses with acceptional wine off the adjoining hills of Casina Terra Felice. All for an agreeable price. Gratzie Mille.
04/01/2025: Well-kept restaurant, friendly service. Interesting menu. Cuisine that is only apparently simple. Traditional dishes revisited without arrogance, respecting and enhancing the excellent raw materials used. The brilliant gazpacho in the summer is surprising... a unique experience!

14/01/2025: Una certezza, oramai. Rispetto alle prime aperture serali, è evidente il cambio di passo. La cucina ha trovato una linea ben definita, il menù ruota attorno ad alcuni "signature dish" legati alla tradizione (provate lo stufato, se vi capita) ma propone anche piatti con accostamenti innovativi. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è decisamente buono. Assolutamente consigliato!
15/12/2024: Il caso vuole che torniamo ad Asti per le bancarelle natalizie che i nipoti vogliono visitare, e si aggiungono i nonni ai quali proponiamo subito questo simpatico ristorante in zona centrale e già sperimentato in precedenza. La scelta soddisfa ampiamente tutti i commensali, questa volta pranziamo al piano inferiore ed abbiamo una grande tavolata per nove, dove il cordialissimo titolare ci fa accomodare, scusandosi per un menu più contenuto della volta scorsa, apprezziamo il commento ma siamo certi che la qualità del locale ci darà soddisfazione… e difatti ! Le richieste variano e ci sono molti assaggi che ci permettono di gustare un po’ di tutto, e tutto buonissimo 👏👏 Consigliato !
