We had a really good lunch, with excellent quality dishes and the flavors of the past, the very kind staff, with fair prices. We will be back soon!!

I recommend this restaurant for the excellent food that recalls the cuisine of the past. The gnocchi with mutton sauce, the chestnut fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, the stew with chestnuts and apples are delicious. Top desserts: chocolate and orange cake and Baileys tiramisu. Good value for money. We will be back.

Today I stopped for lunch at this place with my wife. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service staff. We ordered an appetizer, a first course, a second course of meat, a side dish, a dessert, water, wine and two coffees. Almost everything went according to expectations. Unfortunately the waiting time to receive the first course (a lasagna) and the sirloin was a good 45 minutes after ordering! Furthermore, the meat (sirloin), although served with a delicious side of mushrooms, was too tough. This made me doubt whether it was really a sirloin... Account in the norm.

I stopped at Trattoria La Fontana during a trip out of town with my motorbike, I must say that it was an excellent welcome, from what I understand it is family run and everything works perfectly. Honestly, I only had a glass of white wine, a corrected coffee and a bitter because I had already had lunch elsewhere, but I found a lot of kindness and professionalism, an excellent menu that is always updated and interesting off-menu items. We will certainly come to visit you for a good lunch.👍👏💪🏻

1- torneremo di sicuro in questa trattoria 2-personale gentile ed accorto 3-piatti con prodotti e varieta' decisamente interessanti 4-piatti extra menu nell'occasione buonissimi (p.es. controfiletto e fiori di zucca con alici e mozzarella come meritano di essere cucinati!!!) 5-ottima scelta di vini ...e speriamo che non cambino A presto!

Ci siamo fermati per caso in questa stupenda trattoria nell' attesa di visitare il castello di Roccasinibalda, abbiamo preso i fiori di zucca con alici e mozzarella, le materie prime sono freschissime, il proprietario ci ha detto che i fiori di zucca provenivano dal suo orto e senza dubbio la differenza era notevole, abbiamo proseguito prendendo delle fettuccine al tartufo e degli strangotti con sugo di rapa, gorgonzola e noci,è stato difficile scegliere quale piatto fosse più buono, l'odore delle fettuccine mi ha ricordato l'odore di pasta fresca preparata in casa, tutti prodotti di qualità; il tutto accompagnato dalla grande gentilezza del proprietario e cameriere. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo. Tornerei in questo paese solo per la trattoria.
