Great food, great atmosphere, friendly staff.

After a day of traveling in Gargano we decide to book at this restaurant near the farmhouse where we were staying. A simple and unpretentious restaurant, located on the fabulous Varano Lake, once iconic for eel fishing, which could be tasted right in this restaurant. Too bad that the blue crabs have changed an entire ecosystem and today it is difficult to find eels and lake fish. Nonetheless, at the fountain it is possible to find authentic, simple cuisine, with excellent raw materials and perfectly executed. As a start, the oysters are excellent and tasty. Spaghetti with clams perfectly al dente and well creamed: the best spaghetti with clams eaten in the whole Gargano during the holiday. Super abundant and perfectly executed fried food. Crispy dry fried food and tender calamari. Super recommended value for money. Super courteous service from the owner who was able to tell us the history of the place with great sympathy and availability.
