We dined here on a Saturday evening and were really satisfied with both the quality of the food and the impeccable service. I highly recommend it.

Came to eat here in this traditional tavern style place. The food was amazing and very fast, we waited for about 10-15 minutes after ordering for the food to be served. The classic tavern style makes it a really nice place to sit down and has a lot to look at. Pleasant experience.

Beautiful restaurant in the center of Matera. Fast and attentive service. The food was excellent (I recommend trying all the appetizers). We ate outside, but I recommend taking a look inside because it's truly gorgeous.

I had the pleasure of having lunch at this excellent restaurant. The orecchiette with knife-cooked ragù were divine, and the scrambled eggs with peperone crusco are a must-try. The service was excellent, and the owner was incredibly kind and helpful. I recommend this trattoria for sampling the flavors of Matera.

Hand on heart the best food I have eaten so far in Italy. We had the potatoes, chicken, meat balls, hamburger plate and green salad ( which to be fair was just a coz lettuce WTH... dont buy 🤣) . I loved this place so much I went twice in one day for lunch and dinner. I dont have any photos sadly but the servings were generous and the prices were fair.

Sono stato a pranzo ieri pomeriggio con amici che devo dire posto magnifico personale molto educato e simpatico cucina top piatti tipici lucani ottime le orecchiette con cime di rape come tutto il resto sicuramente ci ritorneremo grazie

11/08/2025: During our long drive from Marsala to Puglia, we stopped at this café for a coffee break. A perfect choice! Excellent coffee at the very reasonable price of €1. The staff were very friendly, and—important for travelers—the bathrooms were clean and available. Highly recommended!
